Publication number: 20190073391Abstract: A data migration system and method operate within a database platform system, which includes first and second databases, to provide data migration between databases. The data migration includes automatically generating a globally unique identifier for each record of the first database, such as upon creation of each record. Records in the second database are updated or inserted according to whether or not records in the second database have globally unique identifiers that correspond to globally unique identifiers of records in the first database.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 1, 2018Publication date: March 7, 2019Applicant: salesforce.com, inc.Inventors: David Ross Baker, Mitul J. Hirpara, Michael Gonzales

Publication number: 20190073455Abstract: A method and system for allowing an independent software vendor (ISV) access to proprietary software code for software of an organization has been developed. An ISV generates a login request that masquerades as a user of the software. A license management system that controls access to the software, is accessed and determines if two session IDs are present. The presence of two separate session IDs identifies the ISV and if detected, the ISV is allowed access to the proprietary software code. Finally, the organization is notified about the ISV's access to the proprietary software code.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 7, 2017Publication date: March 7, 2019Applicant: salesforce.com, inc.Inventors: NICHOLAS CHUN YUAN CHEN, NATHAN EDWARD LIPKE, DAVID ROSS BAKER, WINSTON CHOW, JONATHAN WIDJAJA

Publication number: 20170353458Abstract: A platform is provided to allow the developer to log into a subscriber's computer system by using the credential of the developer or the subscriber to view and to debug at least a portion of executable code that is used by the subscriber. The executable code used by the subscriber may be part of managed package code, at least portions of which are customized for various subscribers. Cooperative debugging may be provided between developer and subscriber with lifting of code encapsulation for the developer in the subscriber implementation. The developer and the subscriber may be granted debugging licenses each authorizing a limited number of debugging sessions, and each debugging session run by the developer may be counted against the debugging license of either the developer or the subscriber. Debugging licenses may be transferred between the developer and the subscriber.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 29, 2016Publication date: December 7, 2017Inventors: Nathan Edward Lipke, David Ross Baker, Nicholas Chun Yuan Chen, Jonathan Widjaja, Winston Chow, Josh Kaplan, Gregory Wester

Patent number: 7176889Abstract: An input device for an electronic system includes a force sensor having conductive interdigitated traces on a bottom substrate and a flexible substrate spaced apart from the bottom substrate. The flexible substrate has a resistive layer deposited on a bottom side facing the interdigitated traces. A snap dome is positioned over a portion of the force sensor flexible substrate. A flexible keymat membrane is positioned over the force sensor and the snap dome. The keymat membrane bottom surface faces the force sensor flexible substrate. The keymat membrane bottom surface has a protruding region surrounding the snap dome and spaced above the force sensor flexible substrate. A center keycap on the keymat membrane top surface is positioned over the snap dome. A surrounding keycap on the keymat membrane encloses the center keycap and is positioned over the keymat membrane protruding region.Type: GrantFiled: May 21, 2004Date of Patent: February 13, 2007Assignee: Interlink Electronics, Inc.Inventors: Jeffrey Ross Baker, James Dexter Tickle, Carlos Solis Sanchez, Scott David Alhart

Publication number: 20060002574Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide a canal hearing device and method in which the device is implemented with a mode of operation that provides acoustic transparency as well as a power-saving function, permitting the user to wear the device in the ear canal during periods of sleep or inactivity without substantial loss of normal unaided response. The transparent mode has an in-situ acoustic transfer function that compensates for the insertion loss caused by the presence of a hearing device in the ear canal. While the device is in this transparent mode, its acoustic transfer function gives the user a perception of unaided hearing, as though the device were removed, when it is actually being worn continuously in the ear canal. Current drain of the device is significantly reduced as the transparent mode serves to shut off or reduce bias currents of at least one circuit element within device circuitry.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 1, 2005Publication date: January 5, 2006Applicant: InSound Medical, Inc.Inventors: Adnan Shennib, Ross Baker, Ian Day
