Abstract: A heated hair brush apparatus. A base plate is disposed at a head portion of a housing and has an upper face and a lower face. A plurality of heating elements each extends from the upper face of the base plate to a terminal end. A heat source is disposed in the compartment for transmitting heat through the heating elements. The heating elements and the base plate define a plurality of bores. A plurality of spacers of a material that has a lower thermal conductivity than the heating elements are each received by one of the bores of the base plate. Each of the spacers taper inwardly along at least a portion of the spacer toward the distal end for wedging the spacer in the bore of the heating element to inhibit movement of the spacer relative to the heating element.

Abstract: The device has a crank assembly for retaining and rotating the fruit or vegetable being cut and a removeably mounted blade assembly for cutting the retained fruit or vegetable as it is rotated. A single, large diameter suction cup is attached to the bottom of the device engage the surface upon which the device is situated. A lever controls the operation of the suction cup. The crank assembly is moveable along rails to adjust the distance between the crank and blade. The rails form outwardly open channels with the top surface of the base. An inclined surface is situated beneath the blade assembly which is adapted to guide the cuttings toward the end of the base an into an adjacent bowl. The inclined surface is situated on a ramp located on the top surface of the base.

Abstract: A beading board for arranging cylindrical beads in a pattern displayed on an electronic display device. The beading board includes a frame configured to receive the electronic display device, and a board including a plurality of bead receivers. The board is cooperatively received by the frame and configured to be supported over the electronic display device such that the electronic display device is viewable through the board. A system and method for generating and displaying a beading pattern on the electronic display device is also provided.

Abstract: The exercise device includes a wheel having a side and an axle assembly including an axle and a handle section extending from the axle outwardly of the sides of the wheel. A coil spring is situated within the wheel, surrounding the axle and is operably connected between the wheel and the axle such that the wheel and the axle can move relative to each other to alter the tension on said spring. The handle assembly also has a circular member situated proximate and parallel to the side of the wheel. The member is fixedly mounted to and radially extending from the axle such that the member and the axle move together as a unit. Accordingly, the wheel can move relative to the axle/member unit without irritating the user's hand gripping the handle section.
