    Abstract: A user who desires, for example, to order a dress shirt, is instructed to select a preferred fitting dress shirt, to lay the shirt flat and to take a set of measurements from the flat laying shirt according to key measurements, The set of measurements taken is then input and associated with the type of garment. In this way a shirt may be ordered having measurements which accord with the input set of measurements or which diverge from the set in a way which may be shown to the user in advance of ordering.
