  • Publication number: 20010045079
Abstract: A wall panel lifting system used for forming multistory walls. The system includes a vertical wall panel lifting frame, a wall panel trolley frame and a wall panel. The wall panel lifting frame includes a plurality of vertical legs connected together using leg couplings, cross braces and angled lifting frame braces and a pair of vertical jacks. The lifting frame also includes a cable winch with a cable and pulleys. One end of the cable is attached to the trolley frame for lifting the trolley frame and attached wall panel as the building of the block or brick wall proceeds upwardly. The trolley frame is rides on wheels up and down inside a vertical groove in a front of the vertical legs of the lifting frame. The trolley frame includes a pair of vertical channel members. The channel members include a rear “U” shaped channel and a front “U” shaped channel.

  • Patent number: 6053375
Abstract: A non-resealable, snap-fitted closure comprises a closure, a drop ring and a container. The closure has a sleeve with a sleeve snap. The drop ring has an internal snap and an external snap wherein the internal snap engages the sleeve snap of the closure when the closure engages the drop ring. The container has a neck and a neck snap, wherein the neck snap and the internal snap of the drop ring engage when the closure and the drop ring engage the neck. The neck snap of the neck and the internal snap of the drop ring are an order of magnitude stronger than the sleeve snap of the sleeve and the external snap of the drop ring. When the closure is removed from the neck, the drop ring remains attached to the neck and is free to move vertically up and down along the neck, thereby preventing reattachment of the closure to the container.

  • Patent number: 4435969
Abstract: An apparatus and method are disclosed for flanging thin-walled canbodies. Slippage in the circumferential direction between the canbody and flanging apparatus is severely reduced by mounting rollers in the flanging head on radial axis of rotation which are perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the canbody. This roller orientation provides a number of other advantages including lowered incidence of defective flanges, reduced maintenance of the roller, reduced cost and complexity in roller and mounting means fabrication and a reduction in the strain and stress the canbody is subjected to. Critical to satisfactory commercial operation of the present invention is the provision of and the proper interaction between a transition and clearing surface and a frustoconical support surface on the rollers.
