  • Publication number: 20160323136
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments of a system for rendering, in a browser of a computing device, a network page of an electronic commerce system. The system translates activities undertaken to render the network page into a plurality of actions to be performed by a slave client to duplicate the activities of the browser in rendering the network page. The system transmits the plurality of actions to the slave client, wherein the plurality of actions enable the slave client to issue a network page request that duplicates a network page request from the browser.

  • Patent number: 9465781
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for obtaining captures of network pages from an electronic commerce system, wherein each of the captures comprises attributes of the respective one of the network pages and capture data of one of the network pages in a browser. The system identifies a correlated pair of the captures having a positive degree of correlation between the attributes of a respective pair of the network pages. The system generates a differential for the correlated pair, wherein the differential comprises distinctions between the capture data of the correlated pair of captures. The system generates a notice associated with the correlated pair, wherein the differential exceeds a predefined threshold.

  • Patent number: 9396259
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments of a system for rendering, in a first browser of a computer, a network page of an electronic commerce system. The system stores, in a first data store, a first capture of a rendering of the network page. The system transmits data associated with the first capture to another computer, where a second browser renders the network page based at least upon the data associated with the first capture. The system stores, in a second data store, a second capture of the network page.

  • Patent number: 8886819
Abstract: A messaging frame can be used to allow different domains to communicate in an electronic environment that are otherwise prevented from directly communicating. A messaging frame or other communication element can be configured to receive messages or communications from any frame, object, or element in the same domain as the messaging frame. The messaging frame then can switch to a target domain in order to provide the message or communication to a frame, object, or element in the target domain. The messaging frame can include an interface definition that allows only approved messages to be passed between domains, such that the risk of malicious attack is minimized.

  • Patent number: 8869055
Abstract: A service may enable users to store and/or acquire items that are identified from an electronic source without leaving the source. A service may identify items included in content that is available from one or more content providers (e.g., social networking sites, electronic news, product reviews, etc.). The identified items may be matched with specific items available from the service. The service may associate a designator, which may be placed proximate the description of the item in the content that is published by the content provider. A user may select the designator (link, button, etc.) to acquire the item from the service or store information about the item in a user account maintained by the service.
