    Abstract: An aqueous resinous dispersion and a method of coating employing the aqueous resinous dispersion are disclosed. The aqueous resinous dispersions are solubilized with base and comprise an acrylic polymer containing N-ethoxymethylacrylamide or methacrylamide moieties and an epoxy resin. The dispersion is useful for coating metal containers particularly as a coating for the interior of containers which are used for alcoholic beverages, for example, beer cans.
