  • Patent number: 11018589
Abstract: Methods and systems for balancing output currents of parallel connected resonant converters are disclosed. One such method includes matching switching frequencies for a pair of resonant converters. The method also includes carrying AC output currents of resonant tanks of each of the resonant converters through a current controlled voltage source that is coupled to each of the resonant converters of the pair of resonant converters at an AC side of each of the resonant converters of the pair of resonant converters. The method further includes inducing, for the pair of resonant converters, a voltage that is proportional to a difference in the AC currents carried through the current controlled voltage source by passing the AC currents through the current controlled voltage source. The induced voltage is oriented to oppose the greater of the AC currents and to increase the smaller of the AC currents.

  • Publication number: 20060152935
Abstract: The present invention relates to an interactive headlight control system providing a vehicle on which it is installed means for remotely automatically controlling headlights of other surrounding vehicles by sending outgoing remote-action signals. More particularly, the headlight control system provides the vehicle on which it is installed the ability of automatically switching headlights of other surrounding vehicles by remote control from their high position to their low position, and to maintain their headlights in low position, even if they have manually been set to high position. The headlight control system also provides means for receiving and reacting to such signals.

  • Publication number: 20050286270
Abstract: A full wave DC/DC converter magnetically integrates into the transformer assembly the functions of the resonant inductor, magnetizing inductor and the output filter inductor. The primary and the secondary windings are assembled on a gapped center leg of an E-core, while two output filter windings with an equal number of turns are assembled on gapped left and gapped opposed side legs of the E-core. The length of the gaps in the side legs is selected so that the DC current does not saturate the side legs. The two filter windings are connected in series and are oppositely polarized so that the voltages induced in these windings by the primary winding flux cancel each other.
