Abstract: A pickup truck attachment apparatus is provided for a pickup truck having a cab and a cargo space truck bed with a pair of sidewalls and an end wall and a tailgate. The attachment includes a rigid cover for the pickup truck bed shaped to fit over the sidewalls with the rigid cover having a frame supporting a flat panel member attached thereto and having a top and bottom and two sides and two ends. Hinges having quick attaching/detaching hinge pins has one hinge leaf attached to the truck bed end wall and the other hinge leaf attached to one end of the rigid cover and adapted for the rigid cover to rotate on the plurality of hinges so that the rigid panel can be raised and lowered from the tailgate end and can be quickly removed from the truck. Accessory attachment members are attached to the rigid cover panel for attaching accessories, such as a cover or the like so that the rigid cover can support attachments thereto.

Abstract: A pickup truck attachment allows a pickup truck to be used for carrying a dog box, a camping enclosure, and mounted seats on the back of the truck. The attachment includes a storage compartment shaped to fit in the cargo compartment of a pickup truck which compartment has an entrance in the rear thereof. A platform is attached over the storage compartment to the sidewalls of the cargo compartment to provide a support surface thereover and includes a pair of slide tracks attached to the top thereof. A foldable tent structure has a plurality of frame members and a flexible covering and at least two of the frame members are slidably attached in the slide tracks at one end of the frame members and adapted to slide therein for opening and collapsing the tent structure on top of the platform. A pair of seats are removably attached to the top of the platform for seating on the platform or placing on the ground while camping. The platform includes a pair of storage tanks with a water tap and a filler cap.

A swing is movably supported to the roof in one position and is held adjacent the roof in a raised second position. A table and bench section are stored on the structure and attached to the frame to form a table and bench structure with the frame beneath the swing. The structure also includes brackets for attaching a steel pipe across frame members for supporting one or more see-saw boards and a plurality of pivoting frame members can be held with chains for supporting boards for use as seats or plant holders. The structure also provides for a pair of pivoting ladder members pivoting from the roof of the structure in a spaced apart relationship. The spaced ladder members can be pivoted to a position adjacent the roof and attached thereto for storage when not in use and can have a board member connected therebetween to form a rocking seat when in an operative position.
