Abstract: A data communication network includes a data communication node and an imaging device. The data communication node establishes a data connection with a user equipment device and provides beamforming information for the data connection. The imaging device provides image information for a coverage area of the data communication node. The network synthesizes a 3D map of the coverage area based upon the image information, authenticates the user equipment device, correlates a location of the user equipment device within the 3D map based upon the beamforming information for the data connection and upon the image information, and attests to an identity of the user equipment device based upon the correlation of the location.
