Abstract: In-store display systems, and methods for displaying products in stores are disclosed. In one embodiment, the in-store display system includes a display structure and at least one sample surface material. The display structure can be any type of structure that is suitable for holding the sample surface material. The sample surface material may be used to demonstrate the application of an architectural surface covering product thereto. In one embodiment, a method is provided for demonstrating an architectural surface covering product to a potential purchaser. In one version of such a method, the method includes a step of marring an area of the architectural surface covering product, and a step of repairing the marred surface.

Abstract: An online data collection system having an image bank module with a plurality of images. The image bank module is in selective communication with a panelist interface that receives and displays the plurality of images. A panelist interface facilitates panelist input of a selection of at least one image from the display of the plurality of images. The system also has a research interface arranged in communication with the image bank module. The research interface allows selective access to the panelist input, and a communication device is provided at the research interface and facilitates analysis of the panelist input. The online data collection system also allows selective manipulation of one or more of the images in the image bank module and allows additional images to be added to the image bank module.

Abstract: Disclosed are protective, flexible mats for absorbing liquids on floors and other surfaces which contain a waterproof component and a polymeric foam sheet formed by polymerizing a high internal phase water-in-oil emulsion. The mats can also contain a non-skid material and/or at least one liquid pervious sheet. The mats are suitable for absorbing hydrophilic and hydrophobic liquids.
