  • Patent number: 7987571
Abstract: A system for removing single handle cartridges from housings of faucets and showers comprised of a core puller and a sleeve puller. The core and the sleeve of the cartridge are pulled in two separate steps. The core is pulled by attaching the core puller to the stem of the core with the open end of the core puller placed against the faucet/shower housing. The T-handle of the core puller is turned pulling the core out of the sleeve of the cartridge. The sleeve of the cartridge is then loosened using the sleeve puller which is expansively attached to the sleeve and twisted left and right sharply until the sleeve rotates inside the housing. The sleeve is then pulled by attaching the core puller to the outer end of the sleeve puller and turning the T-handle of the core puller to pull the sleeve puller and sleeve from the housing.

  • Patent number: 7827679
Abstract: A thermal management circuit board comprises a heat sink, at least one insulating layer and at least one electronic circuit. The heat sink comprises a heat conducting material having tooling holes disposed therethrough and raised portions disposed on at least one surface thereof. The raised portions of the heat sink provide mounting surfaces for heat producing electronic components on a plane above a chemically etched surface of the heat sink. The electronic circuit comprises a prepreg and a circuit material wherein the circuit material is laminated to the prepreg, has a photoresist laid thereupon with at least one circuit image printed thereupon. The photoresist is then developed and the circuit material is chemically etched to define a circuit trace of the electronic circuit. The insulating layer comprises a thermally and electrically resistant material and has apertures disposed therethrough corresponding in size and shape to the raised portions of the heat sink.

  • Publication number: 20080235930
Abstract: A tool for removing a mixing valve cartridge from a housing located in a faucet or shower. The tool is comprised of a core puller and a sleeve puller which share a T-handle. The cartridge is removed by first pulling the core from the cartridge sleeve and then pulling the sleeve from the housing. The core is pulled using the core puller consisting of a cylindrical body open at its inner end and having a left-hand threaded hole at its outer end through which a left-hand screw is threadably attached. The left-hand screw has a right-hand screw at its inner end for threading to the core and a transverse hole at its outer end for attaching the T-handle. The right-hand screw is attached to the core, the open end of the cylindrical body is placed against the housing and the T-handle is attached to the outer end of the left-hand screw. The T-handle is turned clockwise pulling the core out of the sleeve and into the cylindrical body.

  • Patent number: 6973719
Abstract: A method of making a thermal management material for a circuit board panel comprising the steps of cutting a thermally conductive, rigid substrate from a larger sheet of heat conducting material, degreasing the thermally conductive substrate, mechanically abrading at least one surface of the thermally conductive substrate, acid cleaning the at least one abraded surface of the thermally conductive substrate, rinsing the thermally conductive substrate, passivating the at least one abraded surface of the thermally conductive substrate to render the at least one surface chemically inert, rinsing the thermally conductive substrate, drying the thermally conductive substrate and baking the thermally conductive substrate at an elevated temperature.
