Abstract: A new game piece chamber has a front surface, a rear surface, and an interior. Spaced apart railings extend in parallel from the front surface to the rear surface and have smooth surfaces facing the interior. A securing mechanism is attached to the railings opposite the smooth surfaces. One or more dividers are configured to be removably secured to the securing mechanism and to organize game pieces stored in the interior. A new game board chamber has a first side and a second, opposing side and a securing mechanism on at least one of the two sides. One or more game piece holders are configured for removable attachment to, and repositioning on, the securing mechanism. A game board organizer is attached to the first side or the second side. A new modular gaming case is configured to house game piece chambers and game board chambers.

Abstract: A rotor mechanism for use in moving fluid. The rotor mechanism has six rotor units spherically arranged, with at least one rotor unit including a port through it's body. Each rotor has the form of a truncated cone with two symmetric spiral recesses provided on the lateral surface of the rotor which acts to cooperate with the adjacent rotors. Rotation of at least one rotor unit causes rotation of adjacent rotor units which thereby moves fluid without compression between the outside of the mechanism and the port via a central substantially spherical free space cavity formed by the cooperation of inner surfaces of the rotor units. The rotor mechanism is fully submersible.

Abstract: An imaging system and process is disclosed for imaging a scene comprising at least one target image. The system comprises a wide field of view imaging device for imaging the scene, a controller operable to store data representative of a location of the at least one target image within the imaged scene and a narrow field of view imaging device for imaging the at least one target image along an imaging axis. The system further comprises a steering arrangement for selectively steering the imaging axis across at least a portion of the imaged scene to direct the imaging axis at the at least one target image. The respective process thus enables a single narrow field of view imaging device to capture high resolution images of multiple targets within the imaged scene.

Specifically, the present invention is directed to combination therapies for the treatment of progressive renal diseases (e.g., Chronic Renal Failure) and their accompanying secondary disease states. In a composition aspect, the present invention provides a composition comprising a phosphate binder and another pharmaceutically active ingredient. The other pharmaceutically active ingredient is selected from a group consisting of antihypertensives, calcitrol, vitamin D analogues, lipid restriction products, potassium salts, treatments for anemia and alkalization compounds.

Abstract: A brake evaluation gauge is useful to determine a brake lining thickness and/or brake drum wear. Depending on the particular embodiment selected, one of a thickness measurement, a percentage of brake life left, a pass or a fail indication may be indicated for the thickness of the brake lining. A first end of a gauge is inserted between a brake shoe table and a brake drum of applied air brakes to provide this reading. Furthermore, a recess in the gauge is placed over a ridge created by wear of the brake lining on the brake drum. If the ridge contacts the interior surface of the recess, then excessive wear of the brake drum is indicated.
