Publication number: 20170124573Abstract: A user profile database system comprising a database for storing a plurality of user profile records. Each user profile record comprises a user profile data associated with a human user. The system also includes a processor configured for accepting user profile data from human users and transmitting user profile datum to a third party clearinghouse for verification of each human user's profile data. If said clearinghouse verifies the user profile data from a human user, then a user profile record based on the user profile data is stored in the system's database. The system also provides a graphical user interface for accepting search parameter from a second human user, and wherein the processor is further configured for performing a search of the plurality of user profile records in the database for the search parameters of the second user and displaying search results of said search to the second user.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 28, 2015Publication date: May 4, 2017Inventors: Byron Roy Hall, Michael John Holmes

Patent number: 7987247Abstract: A Building Automation System (BAS) includes at least one Direct Digital Control (DDC) controller operating as a BACnet MS/TP master considered to be an “Anchor”. The Anchor operates an algorithm or method which automatically assigns BACnet Protocol MS/TP Media Access Control (MAC) addresses to other BAS components (considered Nomads) being installed into the network. The Anchor gathers MAC addresses existing on the MS/TP network, and issues an available MAC Pool Announcement. Each Nomad randomly picks a temporary MAC address. When the Anchor verifies singular communication at the temporary MAC address, the Anchor assigns a permanent MAC address to the Nomad, which can later be locked into flash memory. Using the preferred algorithm and method, Nomad devices are automatically assigned unused MAC addresses to join the MS/TP network in a non-conflicting, orderly way, with all communications occurring within the confines of BACnet MS/TP Protocol.Type: GrantFiled: December 2, 2008Date of Patent: July 26, 2011Assignee: KMC Controls, Inc.Inventors: Bruce Dale Westphal, Jeptha Roy Hall, David Paul Bohlmann, Gregory A. Zuercher

Publication number: 20070036827Abstract: A vaccine composition and method of administering same is provided that utilizes an isolated nucleic acid corresponding to substantially an entire Kunjin virus which upon administration to an animal is capable of eliciting a protective immune response to another, more pathogenic flavivirus such as West Nile virus NY 99 strain. The isolated nucleic acid may further encode at least one attenuating mutation in a Kunjin virus structural and/or non-structural protein. The isolated nucleic acid may be in the form of DNA linked to a promoter in a plasmid construct for expression in vivo or may be in the form of naked RNA or RNA packaged into VLPs. The composition and method may provide protective immunization of animals such as humans, equines and avians.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 29, 2004Publication date: February 15, 2007Applicant: The University of QueenslandInventors: Alexander Khromykh, Roy Hall

Publication number: 20060269571Abstract: An immunotherapeutic composition and prophylactic and/or therapeutic methods of treatment are provided for West Nile virus in animals, and particularly non-human animals, such as horses, wherein said first flavivirus is less virulent and/or pathogenic flavivirus than said second flavivirus The composition and method of treatment include a monoclonal antibody to Kunjin virus E protein, wherein the monoclonal antibody is capable of neutralizing West Nile virus in the non-human animal notwithstanding that West Nile virus is more virulent and/or pathogenic than Kunjin virus.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 22, 2005Publication date: November 30, 2006Inventors: Roy Hall, Terry Ng, Hsien-Jue Chu

Publication number: 20030077011Abstract: A single journal bearing replaces three bearings in applications where one arm is rotary supported by the inner diameter bearing surface of the journal bearing and another arm is rotary supported by the outer diameter of the bearing surface and the journal bearing is fixed so that it cannot rotate. In a V-shaped piston engine the female piston rod is rotary supported to the inner diameter of the journal bearing for driving the shaft crank journal affixed to the fly wheel and the male piston rod is rotary supported for articulated motion to the outer diameter of the journal bearing. In another embodiment a roller bearing is mounted withing said journal bearing and serves to rotary support the shaft crank journal of the fly wheel.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 19, 2001Publication date: April 24, 2003Inventor: Roy A. Patent number: 5655443Abstract: A mobile car crusher (1) has two hydraulic cylinders (13, 20) with one at each end of a heavy-duty trailer. A cylinder base (14) on a bottom of each of the two hydraulic cylinders is positional hydraulically proximate a bottom of each of two cylinder-guide posts (7, 9) for travel mode and proximate a top of each of the two cylinder-guide posts for car-crusher operating mode. A hood end of each of two piston shafts (17) of each of two hydraulic pistons for the two hydraulic cylinders is attached to each of two shaft bases (19, 21) to which ends of a crusher hood (28) are attached in horizontal attitude. The two shaft bases are actuated to travel vertically for alternately car-crushing and car-acceptance action of the crusher hood in relation to a crusher floor (22) by travel of the two hydraulic pistons in hydraulic cylinders with cylinder bases fastened into an operating position proximate tops of the cylinder-post guides.Type: GrantFiled: May 1, 1996Date of Patent: August 12, 1997Inventor: Charlie Roy Hall
