  • Publication number: 20150102123
Abstract: A retained cap aromatherapy container has a cap, a base and an essential oil reservoir. The base has an inner sleeve with an opening in it that fits into the cap. When the container is closed, the opening is covered and aromatherapy vapors are contained. When the container is opened, the cap moves up the sleeve and the opening is revealed. This allows vapors to escape, but the cap is retained on the sleeve. A peg on the sleeve may engage an angled groove in the cap so that the container is opened by twisting the cap. Outer caps and outer bases may snap over inner caps and inner bases to provide a vapor seal as well as provide an aesthetically pleasing surface.

  • Patent number: 6705230
Abstract: An active optical fuze employing side looking, narrow beams. The beams never have anything below the roll stabilized missile in their field of view. Fog and cloud discrimination circuitry is included in the fuze. Detonation of the warhead occurs when either beam intersects any structure on the target.

  • Patent number: 4383663
Abstract: An active optical terminal homing system for providing target-centroid tring when integrated with conventional passive, semi-active and active air target seeker systems. The system combines an active optical scanning laser (ultra-violet thru far infrared) radar tracker with the apertures of passive, semi-active and active midcourse guidance assemblies in a missile.

  • Patent number: 4157544
Abstract: Control of multiple remotely piloted vehicles provided through a system ced the Hybrid Terminal Assist Landing. This system, also referred to as HYTAL, is composed of two principal subsystems, an RF approach control subsystem and a precise optical landing point homing and ranging subsystem. By using a hybrid combination of RF and optical sensors, the remotely piloted vehicle, RPV or other aircraft approach control and recovery guidance system can be optimized with respect to performance complexity, size, weight and cost.
