  • Patent number: 10002407
Abstract: Systems and methods of enhancing the resolution or restoring details associated with high resolution images into a filtered digital surface model (DSM) for location-based applications and analyses. The disclosed methods include mapping the changing gray scale values (intensity) from the images to changes in elevation in the DSM using a regression over a local neighborhood of pixels. Further, the disclosed methods do not rely on information about the sensor illumination geometry, and are extendable to be able to utilize any types of images. Additionally, the disclosed embodiments are sensor agnostic. That is, the disclosed methods can be applied on any type of images collected by any type of sensor.

  • Publication number: 20170316103
Abstract: A method for translating user requests into itinerary solutions is disclosed. The method may commence with receiving an itinerary request associated with one or more passengers. The method may continue with parsing the itinerary request to create an itinerary network associated with the itinerary request. The itinerary network may include at least two or more nodes and dependencies between two or more nodes. Upon the parsing, a topology of the itinerary network may be created. The method may include processing the itinerary network using the topology to create a plurality of tuples. The plurality of tuples may be analyzed. The method may continue with determining feasible itinerary solutions based on the analysis. The feasible itinerary solutions may be ranked. The method may further include presenting, to the one or more passengers, at least one itinerary solution selected from the feasible itinerary solutions based on the ranking.

  • Publication number: 20170293722
Abstract: A method and a system for evaluating a cost of insurance are provided. The method may commence with parsing a text from medical information sources to obtain statistical data associated with a population of patients. The method may further include structuring the statistical data to form structured medical metadata in an intelligent medical database. Based on the structured medical metadata, a causal network may be created. The method may continue with receiving health data associated with a patient from one or more patient data sources. The health data may be parsed to obtain processed patient health data. The method may further include mapping the processed patient health data against the causal network. Based on the mapping, a future health status associated with the patient may be predicted. The method may continue with evaluating the cost of the insurance associated with the patient based on the future health status.

  • Publication number: 20170082814
Abstract: A housing for fiber optic cable pivotably attachable to an adjacent housing to form a modular housing system is disclosed. The housing may include a first body having a plurality of members angled relative to one another to form a first chamber therebetween, the first body including an opening for receiving a fiber cable in the first chamber. An attachment feature may alternatively pivotably attach one of: a) a first cover to the first body to selectively enclose a first side of the first chamber in a cover state, or b) a second body of an adjacent housing to the first chamber to create a joint chamber involving a second chamber of the second body and the first chamber of the first body in an attached housing state.

  • Publication number: 20170011183
Abstract: Provided is a system for automated medical decision-making. The system may include a first parser configured to parse text associated with medical information sources to obtain medical information and a second parser configured to parse patient data to obtain processed patient data. A processor, in communication with the first parser and the second parser, is configured to structure the medical information to form structured medical metadata in an intelligent medical database. Based on the structured medical metadata, the processor creates a causal network and receives the patient data from patient data sources. When the patient data is parsed by the second parser and the processed patient data is obtained, the processor maps the processed patient data against the causal network and generates the medical decision for the patient based on the mapping.

  • Publication number: 20160379142
Abstract: A method for facilitating travel reservations is presented. The method may commence with receiving a travel related query. Upon receiving the travel related query, an attribute set relevant to the travel related query may be ascertained. The method may continue with parsing the travel related query to derive attribute values related to the attribute set. Upon parsing, at least one attribute of the attribute set may be initiated with the derived attribute values. The method may include ranking the at least one attribute based on user preferences and assigning weights to the at least one attribute based on the ranking to create at least one weighted attribute. The method may continue with searching for feasible travel itineraries. The feasible travel itineraries may be scored based on the at least one weighted attribute. • Publication number: 20160125326
Abstract: A method for improved management of an airline inventory during a service disruption is described. The method comprises receiving, at a mirror of a legacy inventory system, one or more updates from a re-accommodation system. The mirror is populated with the one or more updates. The method proceeds with communicating the one or more updates to the legacy inventory system at a controlled rate. The one or more updates communicated to the legacy inventory system are flagged as pending update. A confirmation that the one or more records are updated in the legacy inventory system is received. The confirmation indicates synchronization of the mirror and legacy inventory system. In response to the confirmation, the one or more updates are unflagged in the mirror. Statistical evaluation of the inventory is provided based on the one or more updates in the mirror.

  • Patent number: 9286629
Abstract: Provided are methods and systems for efficient matching of suppliers and customers for travel-related and other types of goods and services. These methods and systems are based on an exchange or market concept, in which a computer system performs matching between different parties. Specifically, an exchange system may compare customers' requests with suppliers' content records. In certain embodiments, an exchange system sends notifications of customers' requests to suppliers based on criteria presented by the suppliers. Users' requests and/or vendors' content records may be processed using natural language parser to determine appropriate components for searches and matches. This substantially improves efficiency of the exchange system and makes it more user friendly as users and vendors may present different terms in their respective searches and entries. An exchange system may include a pattern recognition component and semantic natural language parser to perform this function.
