Abstract: Embodiments, apparatuses, and systems associated with providing a two color etchable label for a drinking vessel. In some cases, the label may be formed from two or more layers, each layer having a different color. In some cases, the length of the label may have a first portion and a second portion. The thickness of the label may comprise substantially equal portions of the first layer and the second layer at the first portion and the thickness of the label may be predominately formed from one of the layers at the second portion.

Abstract: A portable, convertible, and modular lap desk for use with various types of electronic devices. In some cases, the lap desk may be configured with extendible legs to provide a plurality of adjustable height positions. For instance, the legs may include a closed position, a partially extended position, and a fully extended position for use in different situations. The lap desk may also include on board power supplies, various compartments for storing the electronic devices and on boarding cabling and cable routing to more efficiently organize and couple multiple devices.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for exercising muscles are disclosed, including a system that enables a person to perform an exercise that directly targets the biceps and minimizes activation of the forearm muscles. Embodiments of the invention also afford a user with the ability to utilize a single dumbbell in conjunction with a platform of the invention to target both biceps simultaneously. An exercise band may also be attached to a platform of the invention while performing an exercise which may then be performed with or without an inserted dumbbell. Additionally, embodiments of the invention enable a user to utilize an attachment mechanism in conjunction with a platform of the invention to utilize kettlebells, cable machines, resistance/exercise bands or other structures to provide a means of resistance while performing an exercise using the invention.

Abstract: A dual knife food cutter apparatus is configurable into a cutting configuration and a storage configuration. In the cutting configuration, the first blade is attached to the second blade with an internal or external connector to form a substantially contiguous combined cutting side. In the storage configuration, the cutting side of each blade is inserted into a slot of the handle of the other blade.

Abstract: A food cutter apparatus with a blade portion and a handle portion. The blade portion is comprised of a single rigid material. The handle portion can be comprised of the same rigid material as the blade portion or a separate rigid material. The handle portion of the food cutter apparatus is located on top of the blade portion. In one example, a grater, slicer, or other kitchen tool elements are provided integral to the blade portion. In other examples, kitchen tool elements are provided as removable elements that can be attached to a cavity in the blade portion.

Abstract: Techniques for updating data operations in a perception system are discussed herein. A vehicle may use a perception system to capture data about an environment proximate to the vehicle. The perception system may receive image data, lidar data, and/or radar data to determine information about an object in the environment. As different sensors may be associated with different time periods for capturing and/or processing operations, the techniques include updating object data with data from sensors associated with a shorter time period to generate intermediate object data. Such intermediate object data may reduce a delay in updating a position of an object in an environment, which may improve reaction time(s) and/or safety outcomes in systems implementing such perception systems, such as an autonomous vehicle.

Abstract: A portable and disposable litter box includes a bottom tray, a top tray, and an insert. The insert includes insert sidewalls that are attached to the bottom tray. The litter box is configurable in open and closed states. In the closed state, the top tray is disposed on the bottom tray and a litter box cavity is defined between the bottom and top trays, and the insert sidewalls are pivoted inwardly such that the insert sidewalls are disposed in the litter box cavity. In the opened state, the top tray is pivoted away from the bottom tray, and the insert sidewalls are pivoted outwardly such that the insert sidewalls extend from the bottom tray to the top tray.

Abstract: An abdominal exercise device with a stable rolling platform, a pair of handles, and four roller assemblies. In addition to conventional roller exercises, the user may place toes or feet on the stable platform and push or pull the device. The device has attachment features on the handle and platform that permit one or more adjustable elastic cords to be temporarily attached to the exercise device while the device is pushed or pulled relative to the user's body. Variable resistance cords are provided which have a plurality of stop elements to permit the user to adjust the effective resistance of the elastic cords by temporarily securing selected stop elements to the device. In one example, the stop elements have internal tapered plugs and external tapered covers over the tapered plugs; so that the stop elements may nest in tapered receptacles on the device.

Abstract: A baby bottle holder for supporting a baby bottle in a manner that allows a baby to feed from a baby bottle. A substantially planar support frame has a bottom portion, a top portion with a rounded first side and a rounded second side with an opening configured to accept a portion of a baby bottle. A first side portion of the support frame is spaced apart from a second side portion, so that a baby can grasp one or both side portions. A bottle gripping element lines the opening. In one example, the bottle gripping element is a thin layer of rubbery material. In another example, the bottle gripping element includes a compliant seal portion adapted to accepting bottles of various diameters. In various examples, the frame includes rattles, movable elements such as rotatable wheels, or decorative elements such as “ears”.

Abstract: A beverage container holder has a frame with a ring having an aperture for supporting and retaining a beverage container. The aperture can adapt to different sizes of beverage containers. The frame also has appendages extending therefrom. Some of the appendages are handles and some of the appendages are support stabilizers. The beverage container holder resembles an animal, and the appendages resemble ears and legs of the animal.

Abstract: This disclosure includes techniques, apparatuses, and implementations for providing a beverage additive and mixing device compatible with standard pre-packaged beverage containers, such as cans, plastic bottles, or glass bottles. For example, in one implementation, the beverage additive and mixing device may be configured to releasably couple with an open beverage container. Once coupled the beverage additive and mixing device may be used to dispense pre-configured amounts of additives, such as a flavor, national supplements, or sweeteners, into the open beverage container.
