  • Patent number: 5452570
Abstract: An attachment is usable in combination with a standard unmodified bow rake having a tined member with a plurality of equally spaced like tines including first and second end tines, the tines being of predetermined length with aligned free ends. The attachment includes a plate mountable behind the tined member and having a straight bottom edge. The plate is adjustably positionable with the bottom edge in any of a plurality of positions to expose different effective lengths of the tines to control the depth of penetration of the tines into the ground, from zero to near the full actual length of the tines.

  • Patent number: 5079795
Abstract: A ladder accessory (10) is conveniently mounted on a ladder (L) having spaced side rails (S) and a plurality of spaced rungs (R, R') connected thereto. The ladder accessory (10) includes a mounting means 46 and a support fixture which may be a tray (12) having side walls (22, 24) and an end wall (20) which all terminate in a marginal rim (26). A cover (14) covers at least a portion of the tray (12) and is slidably engagable on the rim (26). A support member (46) extends transversely from one of the side walls (22) to form an arrangement to mount the ladder accessory (10) on a ladder side rail (S). Hooks (54, 55) engage rungs (R, R') of the ladder (L) to hold the tray assembly (10) substantially parallel to the side rail (S). The support fixture may be some other suitable fixture such as a shelf member (64).

  • Patent number: 4913394
Abstract: An article holding tray assembly is for use on a ladder having elongated side pieces and lower and upper open-ended rungs joining the side pieces. The assembly includes a tray member, a backing member connected to the tray member along a straight line, a lower tubular member parallel to the line and projecting in a predetermined direction from the tray member to a free end, an upper tubular member parallel to the line and projecting in the predetermined direction from the backing member to a free end. The tubular members are adapted for insertion, free ends first, into the lower and upper rungs, with the tray and backing members substantially mutually at right angles.

  • Patent number: 4620407
Abstract: Disclosed is a repair kit apparatus and a method for repairing holes in drywalls, sheet-rock or gypsum board. The repair kit comprises a template having a saw guide or diagonal slot, one or more repair plugs, patching compound and instructions for effecting the method of repairing the drywall. The template is used to cut out a portion of the drywall about the damaged area, with the drywall being at a sloped angle or contoured inwardly. The repair plug has a peripheral sloped wall edge and is dimensioned for being insertable into the cutout with its sloped wall edges abutting the sloped or contoured wall portions defining the prepared drywall cutout. The repair plug may be mounted within the drywall cutout such that its outermost (face) surface is slightly recessed below the surface of the drywall. Next, patching compound may be applied over the repair plug to form a relatively flat smooth wall surface.
