    Abstract: An assembly for the control and variable cooling of combustion engine oil for jet propelled boats is built as a compact unit containing a compact double construction cooling coil and a thermal responsive valve which selectively either bypasses the coil or directs oil through the coil. A jacket surrounds and provides for circulation of water around the coil and is served by orifices and water lines which remain open whether or not the engine is operating.
