  • Patent number: 8849596
Abstract: An identification system for power consumption of electric appliance has multiple electric appliances, each electric appliance having a dedicated identification transmission circuit connected to a power-connecting loop; multiple power sockets mounted within a power supply region, each power socket having at least one identification receiver for receiving identification transmission signals from the corresponding electric appliance and obtaining a corresponding identification code; multiple energy management units respectively mounted in the power sockets to connect with the corresponding identification receivers, recognize the respective electric appliances by determining the identification codes, and record power consumption information of the corresponding electric appliances; and an energy management server connected to the energy management units and the identification receivers to communicate therewith in a wired or wireless manner.

  • Patent number: 8781639
Abstract: A digital wireless network receptacle has an upper housing, two power sockets formed through the upper housing, a lower housing and a multi-layer mechanism mounted between the upper housing and the lower housing. A single microcontroller unit (MCU) is employed within the multi-layer mechanism so that an intelligent control circuit can be effectively integrated and received in the receptacle with standardized size and limited space. Each power socket of the receptacle is independently monitored and controlled, and power consumed from each power socket can be recorded to ensure a complete understanding of power usage. Besides transmission of power consumption information to a host server through a wireless network, automatic power breaking safety protection upon an overload or standby condition of electrical appliances can be provided.

  • Publication number: 20140054977
Abstract: An improved structure for an intelligent wireless transmission communication socket includes a wireless intelligent socket and at least one extension antenna. Socket aperture sets are disposed on the top of the intelligent wireless socket, and a control circuit is set inside the intelligent wireless socket to detect electricity consumption of each socket aperture set and wirelessly send the detected electricity consumption information. A contact jack is placed on a side face of the intelligent wireless socket, and electrically connected to the control circuit. One end of the extension antenna is connected to the contact jack, and another end extends out from behind an obstacle in front of the intelligent wireless socket. Information detected by the control circuit is sent out through the extension antenna, improving transmission of the detected information.

  • Publication number: 20140002057
Abstract: A wireless intelligent socket assembly has a wireless intelligent socket having a contact hole formed through one side thereof and electrically connected to a control circuit, a cover mounted on the top of the wireless intelligent socket and having an opening formed there through, a one connection wire and an extended antenna. One end of the connection wire is electrically connected to a corresponding contact hole, and the other end is electrically connected to an inner end of a corresponding through hole of the cover. One end of the extended antenna is electrically connected to an outer end of a corresponding through hole, and the other end extends to a location outside the wireless intelligent socket and not blocked by any foreign object. Accordingly, information detected by the control circuit can be transmitted out through the extended antenna to enhance communication performance of the wireless intelligent socket.

  • Publication number: 20130178996
Abstract: An intelligent power supply system having wireless identification employ an RFID wireless identification technique in collaboration with multiple intelligent receptacles respectively equipped with multiple intelligent chip modules mounted in multiple power sockets of the receptacles to precisely locate each electric appliance within a region and power consumption information of the electric appliance. The collected product and power consumption information is transmitted to a remote site for instant monitoring and control through a network, thereby facilitating the management of power utilization efficiency of equipment inside a region and reducing the severe equipment damage and data loss caused by abrupt power outage, including regular power supply detection and allocation, automatic power-off protection upon power irregularity, early notice of obsolete parts.
