Patent number: 10917312Abstract: A computational instance of a remote network management platform may be dedicated to a managed network, and the managed network may use computing resources of a cloud-based service provider. One or more server devices may be disposed within the computational instance and configured to: (i) transmit, to a client device associated with the managed network, a representation of a pane of a graphical user interface (GUI), (ii) receive, from the client device, an indication of credentials for accessing the cloud-based service provider, (iii) validate the credentials by logging on to the cloud-based service provider with the credentials, (iv) determine that the logging on was successful, and (v) transmit, to the client device, a further pane of the GUI that allows definition of a discovery schedule with which the computational instance is to discovery computing resources of the cloud-based service provider that are associated with the managed network.Type: GrantFiled: March 21, 2019Date of Patent: February 9, 2021Assignee: ServiceNow, Inc.Inventors: Robert Bitterfeld, Tom Bar Oz, Roy Wallerstein, Alexandra Feiguine

Patent number: 10826783Abstract: A custom graph of nodes can be selectively generated based on a selected node in a graph representative of a network-connected computing infrastructure. The custom graph can, for example, be generated using software executing on a server device. The server device can receive an indication of the selected node from a client device. A plugin can then be invoked by providing the selected node to the plugin. Responsive to providing the selected node to the plugin, the plugin can provide output including child nodes generated by the plugin. The child nodes generated by the invocation of the plugin can be iteratively processed to generate the custom graph, such as by providing those child nodes to the plugin for subsequent invocation, as applicable. After the custom graph is generated, it can be transmitted to the client device from which the indication of the selected node was received. The custom graph may be displayed at the client device.Type: GrantFiled: August 7, 2019Date of Patent: November 3, 2020Assignee: ServiceNow, Inc.Inventors: Roy Wallerstein, Haviv Rosh, Yuval Rimar

Patent number: 10719482Abstract: In one implementation, a test data comparison system can include a history engine to gather test data and maintain a log of test data based on element identifiers of a user interface, a comparison engine to identify a degree of diversity from a comparison of a first data and a second data and determine a second data entered at a first location is diverse from a first data entered at the first location when the degree of diversity achieves a diversity level of a diversity rule, and a suggestion engine to cause a message to be generated based on the comparison.Type: GrantFiled: January 12, 2015Date of Patent: July 21, 2020Assignee: MICRO FOCUS LLCInventors: Dror Saaroni, Eran Bachar, Elad Malki, Roy Wallerstein

Patent number: 9948501Abstract: In one example of the disclosure, event notices are received, with each notice indicative of degradation of a configuration item. Configuration item past-preference pairings are accessed. Each pairing includes a count of operator-exhibited preferences for event notices associated with a first configuration item relative to event notices associated with a second configuration item. A prioritized ordering of the received event notices is created utilizing the past-preference pairings.Type: GrantFiled: June 18, 2013Date of Patent: April 17, 2018Assignee: ENTIT SOFTWARE LLCInventors: Roy Wallerstein, Anat Levinger, Ira Cohen, Avi Kabizon, Ohad Assulin
