  • Patent number: 8214439
Abstract: The claimed subject matter provides systems and/or methods that facilitate interpreting Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions (MIME) data to view and/or edit MIME content. An interface can obtain MIME data. For instance, this MIME data can be obtained from a stream of MIME data, from loading a static file including the MIME data, etc. Moreover, any disparate type of RFC 822 data can additionally or alternatively be received by the interface. In an embodiment, a MIME reader analyzes the MIME data (and/or normalized RFC 822 data) to interpret encoded structural information and generates at least one primitive based on the encoded structural information. A MIME writer which complements the MIME reader then generates MIME data from the at least one primitive. Further, a hierarchical model can be built utilizing the at least one primitive.

  • Patent number: 8166113
Abstract: An electronic mail message (EMM) addressed to a distribution list of an enterprise is received at a server of the enterprise from a sending address outside of the enterprise. If the distribution list has no external addresses, then the EMM is blocked from being delivered to the distribution list. In an embodiment, if the distribution list has an external address and the sending address is identified in a safe sender list corresponding to the distribution list, then the EMM is delivered to the distribution list. In an embodiment, if the distribution list has an external address, the sending address is not in a safe sender list corresponding to the distribution list, and the content of the message is approved, then the EMM is delivered to the distribution list.

  • Publication number: 20120088614
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a ball (1), especially a soccer ball, comprising the steps: a) Producing a flat, level base material (2), constructed in at least two layers (3, 4, 5, 6, 7) which comprises a cover layer (3) and at least one material layer (4, 5, 6, 7) below said cover layer; b) Cutting out panels (8) of the desired shape from the base material (2); c) Applying the panels (8) to a carrier body (9), especially to a ball bladder. In order to provide a more uniform hardness to the ball across the extend of the circumference, the invention proposes that before, during or after step b) at least the edge region (10) of the panel (8) is heated and a reforming of the edge area (10) takes place, such that the side of the panel (8) which is covered by the cover layer (3) takes on a convex shape (11) in the edges area (10). Furthermore, the invention relates to a ball.

  • Publication number: 20110273566
Abstract: An image recording apparatus suitable for recording a traffic signal violation at an intersection controlled by a traffic light is described. The image recording apparatus includes a first camera focused on the intersection, and a second camera focused on a first lane of a street leading to the intersection. A first control circuit is coupled to the first camera causes the first camera to capture a first image at substantially an instant of time that the traffic light indicates a change of traffic control status. The apparatus also includes a detection circuit to detect when a portion of a vehicle crosses a trigger location in the first lane after the change in traffic control status. A second control circuit coupled to the second camera causes the second camera to capture a close-up image of the vehicle in the event that the detection circuit detects the portion of the vehicle at the trigger location after a change in traffic control status.

  • Patent number: 7976725
Abstract: An efficient cyclic process and related compositions for the in-situ generation of chlorine dioxide from dilute solutions of chlorite anions at near neutral pH. The cyclic process provides a means of safe and effective use of chlorine dioxide with reduced concern of chlorite accumulation in the aqueous system. The disclosed chemistry used to support the cyclic process can be applied independently or in various combinations that are effectively inert. This dramatically reduces safety concerns since the chlorine dioxide is produced in-situ to the application and in dilute concentrations. Also, the process allows for regeneration of inert anions such as bromide and chlorite thereby reducing operating cost.

  • Patent number: 7921173
Abstract: The present invention provides for generating inputs that can be provided to a message classification module to facilitate more reliable classification of electronic messages, such as, for example, as unwanted and/or unsolicited. In one embodiment, a sending messaging server provides an appropriate response to address verification data thereby indicating a reduced likelihood of the sending messaging server using a forged network address. In another embodiment, it is determined if a messaging server is authorized to send electronic messages for a domain. In yet another embodiment, electronic message transmission policies adhered to by a domain are identified. In yet a further embodiment, a sending computer system expends computational resources to solve a computational puzzle and includes an answer document in an electronic message. A receiving computer system receives the electronic message and verifies the answer document.

  • Publication number: 20100314489
Abstract: A gun-fired projectile or ballistic missile (1) is equipped with a pair of canards (3) and an array of tail fins (2). Selected tail fins can be retracted or jettisoned following the ballistic phase to vary the geometry of the array from a rotationally symmetrical configuration to an asymmetric configuration for the glide phase, which together with the canards tends to stabilise the projectile in roll. The canards (3) can be independently extended and retracted with respect to the body of the projectile to generate differential lift for banking the projectile to turn. The canards (3) also preferably have a positive dihedral angle with respect to the intended gliding attitude. In an alternative embodiment the canards are replaced by functionally equivalent thrusters.

  • Publication number: 20100097324
Abstract: A method for controlling user access in an information handling system is provided. Touchscreen signals indicating multiple simultaneous touch points on a touchscreen by an information handling system user are received. The received touchscreen signals are analyzed, and an authorization determination regarding the particular user is made based at least on the analysis of the touchscreen signals. The particular user's access to one or more aspects of the information handling system is controlled based at least on the authorization determination regarding the particular user.

  • Publication number: 20100010259
Abstract: A process for producing peroxydisulfuric acid from a waste comprising substantially sulfuric acid, whereby the sulfuric acid is separated into sulfur trioxide and substantially water which is removed as a waste. The recovered sulfur trioxide is reacted with hydrogen peroxide to produce peroxydisulfuric acid which is fed to a methane-sulfonation process resulting in formation of sulfuric acid radicals. The sulfuric acid radicals react with methane producing methane radicals resulting in formation of sulfuric acid. The sulfuric acid from the methane-sulfonation process is recovered, reprocessed, and the process is repeated.

  • Publication number: 20090208547
Abstract: A composition that generates and releases a biocidal solution comprising at least chlorine dioxide and hypobromous acid is presented. The composition comprises reactants capable of in-situ generation of chlorine dioxide and hypobromous acid, and a gelling agent that slows the rate of dissolution of the reactants, thereby increasing yield and providing a sustained release of biocidal solution. The chemical reaction is triggered when the reactants are contacted by a main solvent (e.g., water). Upon being exposed to the main solvent, the gelling agent forms a gelatinous structure that creates a chamber within the composition enclosing some of the reactants such that the in-situ generation takes place in the chamber. The gelatinous structure contributes to the high yield of the target product (e.g., chlorine dioxide) and its controlled release.
