Abstract: A user device, UE, for a wireless communication system is described. The wireless communication system includes a plurality of user devices, UEs. The UE communicates with one or more transmitting UEs using a sidelink, supports a certain number of HARQ processes, and buffers one or more transmissions for each HARQ process. During a unicast communication with a transmitting UE using the sidelink, the UE receives from the transmitting UE a transmission during a transmission time interval, the transmission associated to control data, e.g. SCI, including a HARQ process ID, buffers the received transmission for the HARQ process, and combines the buffered transmissions prior to decoding. In case a successfully identified transmission is not buffered, the UE indicates to the transmitting UE that the transmission is not buffered at the UE.

Abstract: A wireless communication system includes a plurality of user devices, UEs, and at least one logical group defined in accordance with one or more logical group criteria. The logical group includes a plurality of member UEs to be connected via sidelink for sidelink communication with each other, and all member UEs of the logical group have assigned the same destination identification, ID, the destination ID being unique for the logical group.

Abstract: A transceiver for a wireless communication system is described. The wireless communication system provides resources to be allocated for respective transmissions in the wireless communication system. The resources include one or more bandwidth parts, BWPs, a BWP having a certain numerology and including a plurality of subcarriers in the frequency domain. At least one of the BWPs includes a plurality of resource sets for a sidelink communication, the plurality of resource sets including at least a first resource set and a second resource set, the first resource set being associated with a first criterium, the second resource set being associated with a second criterium, and the first criterium and the second criterium being different. The transceiver is configured to use resources from one or more of the plurality of resource sets within the one BWP for a communication.

Abstract: A wireless communication system includes one or more base stations, and a plurality of UEs for a sidelink communication using sidelink resources. The UEs includes a transmitting UE and a receiving UE using a subset of the sidelink resources of the wireless communication system. The receiving UE sends over the sidelink a sidelink feedback to the transmitting UE. The sidelink feedback indicates for a data transmission a successful or non-successful reception at the receiving UE. The transmitting UE reports the sidelink feedback to a base station. The base station provides to the transmitting UE, responsive to the sidelink feedback, sidelink resources for a possible retransmission of a data packet over the sidelink to the receiving UE. The reporting of the sidelink feedback to the base station by the transmitting UE is activated or deactivated responsive to one or more conditions.

Abstract: A wireless communication system includes a plurality of user devices, UEs, configured for a sidelink communication using resources from a set of sidelink resources of the wireless communication system. The plurality of UEs includes at least one transmitting UE and at least one receiving UE, the transmitting UE and the receiving UE configured to use at least a subset of the sidelink resources of the wireless communication system for the sidelink communication. The wireless communication system is configured to allow a data duplication on the sidelink, wherein the data duplication on the sidelink is activated or triggered dependent on one or more of a sidelink quality of the sidelink between the transmitting UE and the receiving UE, and/or an occupancy of the sidelink resources, and/or data received by a network element/network function, and/or the application service running on one of the UEs.

Abstract: An apparatus for a wireless communication system includes a plurality of base stations and a plurality of UEs. The apparatus is to be connected to a base station for a communication with the base station, and one or more UEs via a sidelink for a sidelink communication. The apparatus and the one or more UEs form a group of user devices. The apparatus is to request from a base station, directly or indirectly, resources for a sidelink communication with the one or more UEs of the group, and is to obtain from the base station, directly or indirectly, information about at least one set of resources to be used for the sidelink communication within the group. Each of the sets of resources is only or exclusively used within the group, and the group members include the apparatus and the one or more UEs of the group.

Abstract: In the field of wireless communication systems or networks, the design of resource pools as they may be used in sidelink communications among users of the wireless communication system, for example in V2X applications, is described. In particular, an improved resource pool design, for example for resource pools to be used in sidelink communications in V2X services in view of the advantages defined by the NR 5G standard, is presented.

Abstract: In the field of wireless communications, approaches for a reallocation and reservation of resources for high priority communications, for a Quality of Service, QoS, feedback, and for handling certain events in a wireless communication network are described. Embodiments relate to the implementation of such approaches for entities of a wireless communication network or system performing sidelink communications like V2X Mode 3 or Mode 4 UEs. In particular, improved approaches for a reallocation and reservation of resources for high priority communications, for a QoS feedback and for handling certain events in a wireless communication network are presented.

Abstract: A user equipment, UE, for a wireless communication network, performs Semi-Persistent Scheduled, SPS, transmissions of messages using SPS, e.g., data or control messages, in the wireless communication network with a certain SPS interval and during a certain SPS overall time duration. The UE selects the certain SPS overall time duration for the certain SPS interval from one of a plurality of sets of SPS overall time durations, each set including a plurality of SPS overall time durations.
