  • Publication number: 20140015871
Abstract: A displaying method for field sequential color displays using two color fields to produce a full color image is disclosed. The displaying method includes: providing a target full color image, displaying a first color field and displaying a second color field. The target full color image is formed by a first color image optical stimulus, a second color image optical stimulus and a third color image optical stimulus. The first color field displays the first color image optical stimulus and a first part of the third color image optical stimulus, while the second color field displays the second color image optical stimulus and a second part of the third color image optical stimulus, which compensates the shortage of the third color image optical stimulus in the first color field. The target full color image is generated by displaying the first and second color fields in sequence, so as to decrease the displaying frequency of field sequential color displays.

  • Publication number: 20130100080
Abstract: In an exemplary optical touch circuit and a LCD device using the same, an optical sensing unit is turned on or off according to an irradiation light intensity and accordingly generates a first signal. A first signal readout unit is electrically coupled to the optical sensing unit and turned on or off according to a first operation timing sequence and accordingly outputs the first signal. A touch reference unit is for providing a reference voltage. A second signal readout unit is turned on or off according to a second operation timing sequence and accordingly outputs the reference voltage. The touch sensing unit is electrically coupled to the first and second signal readout units and uses a voltage difference between the first signal and the reference voltage as a basis to determine that whether the optical touch circuit is touched or not.

  • Publication number: 20080279176
Abstract: A protocol is proposed for a mobile station to transmit Dual Tone Multi-Frequency (DTMF) to another mobile station. When a user presses a key on a source mobile station, which is connected to a target mobile station, DTMF data are transmitted via a digital channel to a base station first. Instead of converting the received DTMF data to a corresponding analog voice to the target mobile station, the base station forwards the DTMF data to the target station via a digital channel. The target mobile station parses the DTMF data and activates certain operation in response to the key pressed by the user.

  • Publication number: 20060123375
Abstract: An integrated circuit for locating failure process layers. The circuit has a substrate with a scan chain disposed therein, having scan cells connected to form a series chain. Each connection is formed according to a layout constraint of a minimum dimension provided by design rules for an assigned routing layer. Since the connection in the assigned routing layer is constrained to a minimum, the scan chain is vulnerable to variations in processes relevant to the assigned routing layer. The scan chain makes it easier to locate processes causing low yield rate of the scan chain.

  • Patent number: 6806142
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a ROM device includes a semiconductor substrate having an array of field-effect transistors within a ROM region. A first dielectric layer covers the array and all transistors are initially in an “ON” state. A second dielectric layer covers at least one layer of metal interconnection formed over the first dielectric layer. The bit lines do not overlap the transistor-sources. A coding photoresist layer is formed on the second dielectric layer and is patterned to form a plurality of apertures defining exposure windows exposing underlying field-effect transistors to be coded permanently to an “OFF” state. A code etching back process is implemented using the photoresist layer as a mask to etch the first and second dielectric layers, the sources of the MOSFETs, and a portion of the substrate through the exposure windows to form a deep trench, disconnecting the coded MOSFETs from the source lines.
