The combination comprises a therapeutically effective amount of a quinoxaline derivative of Formula I which inhibits nuclear import protein, Kpn?1, and a therapeutically effective amount of at least one platinum-based chemotherapeutic agent. The combination therapy provides an enhanced anti-cancer therapeutic effect compared to the effect of the compound of Formula I and the at least one platinum-based chemotherapeutic agent administered alone.
