Abstract: A machine tool includes a housing slidably supported on a table, a moving device may be used to move the housing up and down relative to the table, a tubular shaft is rotatably received within the housing and includes a bore to receive a chuck device which may couple a tool member to the tubular shaft. A rotating device may be used for rotating the tubular shaft relative to the housing, with such as an interaction between a stator and a rotor. The tubular shaft is rotatably received within the housing, and may be smoothly rotated or driven by the rotating device without generating shocks or vibrations.
