Abstract: The invention relates to an airbag unit comprising at least one damping element (10), an inflator (20) and a module mounting (30), wherein the damping element (10) is interposed between the inflator (20) and the module mounting (30). Furthermore, the at least one damping element (10) includes at least one engaging means (11) and the inflator (20) includes at least one receiving means (21) so that the damping element (10) and the inflator (20) can be positively connected to each other. The invention further relates to a steering wheel, a vehicle occupant safety system as well as a manufacturing method.

Abstract: The invention relates to a badge assembly for being connected to an airbag cover composing a badge (10) and a retaining plate (20) adapted to be clip-connected to each other, wherein the badge comprises positioning pins (17) which are adapted to be tightly connected to positioning seats (23) of the retaining element. The invention excels by the fact that the badge (10) includes a decoration element (12) and a carrier element (13) being tightly connected to each other, wherein the carrier element (13) comprises the positioning pins (17). The invention further relates to an airbag cover, an airbag module and a vehicle steering wheel comprising said badge assembly as well as a manufacturing method.

Abstract: The present invention provides a horn system (1) for a vehicle, comprising an airbag module (7) and a cover (3) for receiving and covering the airbag module (7), wherein the cover (3) is moveable relative to the airbag module (7), and a horn circuit (17) for producing a warning signal in response to moving the cover (3) relative to the airbag module (7). The horn system according to the present invention is characterised in that it comprises at least one conductive element (21, 22) attached to a housing (8) of the airbag module (7) and displaceable between an assembling position and a holding position, wherein the conductive element (21, 22) is configured to interact with the cover (3) in the holding position.
