Abstract: An envenomation antidote, and the process for its administration, useful for the treatment of the effects of envenomation resulting from venomous animal bites is disclosed. The antidote consists essentially of a local anesthetic and a glucocorticoid. The antidote is administered in a single dose parenterally through two routes: by subcutaneous infiltration and intramuscular injection, and by direct slow intravenous injection.
