Abstract: A sanding machine comprises a housing with a drive arranged in the housing. A substantially flat sanding sole having a main plane is mounted on the housing for movement in the main plane. The sanding sole is adapted to drive in an oscillating movement. The sanding sole has a first part on which the drive engages and a second part adjacent to the first part, which is releasably connected to the first part. The second part can be removed and replaced with a third part, the third part being releasably connected to the first part. The third part can be an additional sanding surface or a base for another tool.
