  • Patent number: 11114883
Abstract: A method controls a battery-charging device including a rectifier stage of three-phase Vienna rectifier type capable of being connected to a single-phase or three-phase electrical power supply grid and linked by first and second DC power supply buses to a DC-to-DC converter stage including first and second LLC resonant converters that are connected to first and second DC power supply bus capacitors, respectively, which are positioned on each of the buses at the output of the rectifier stage. The power supply for the charging device is single phase and the voltage of the first and second DC power supply bus capacitors is regulated independently by the first and second LLC resonant converters so as to provide a fixed regulated voltage on each of the DC power supply buses.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 14, 2017
Date of Patent: September 7, 2021
    Assignee: RENAULT s.a.s.

  • Patent number: 8742787
Abstract: The present invention relates to a power supply module (100) for an electrical device (10), in particular using direct current, the power supply module (100) including a capacitor-input filter (120) arranged in parallel on the electrical device (10). The power supply module (100) comprises a means (130, 200) for detecting the discharge current (Icc) supplied by the capacitor-input filter (120) following a short-circuit in the power supply module (100). The invention can be used the power supply circuits of automobile electrical devices, in particular the motors of an electric fan unit for creating an air flow in heating, ventilation and/or air-conditioning systems.
