Abstract: The transfer tape of the present invention comprises a continuous web or base material having a heat release material thereon, followed by a layer of pigment or metallics, and finally a layer of sizing or adhesive material. The layer of pigments and/or metallics is provided so as to divide the continuous tape into repeating, sequentially arranged color zones, dividing the tape transversely. Each such zone may itself, in a preferred embodiment, include color regions of various shapes therewithin, and the color zones on the tape may also be divided longitudinally into adjacent color zones upon the tape.
