    Abstract: A slicing machine for foodstuffs in block form has a slicing blade for the foodstuff in block form and a shaft for receiving the foodstuff. The longitudinal direction of the shaft corresponds to the feed direction of the foodstuff in block form. The shaft has a first shaft region and a second shaft region which are at least partially separated from one another by a slot. At least one offset lies between the two shaft regions.     Abstract: The invention concerns a backwashable filter device, specially for domestic water conduits that includes an inlet for raw water, a raw water chamber connected to the inlet, an outlet for clean water, a clean water chamber connected to the outlet, a filter element and an outlet for backwash water. The filter element is arranged between the raw water chamber and the clean water chamber and features a partial area (B) that accommodates water flow only in backwash but not normal operation. A conduit channel connects the outlet for backwash water with the partial area (B). At least one separate conduit connection is provided from the clean water chamber to the partial area (B). A conduit area is present in the conduit connection and designed in a nozzle-like shape so that clean water can be conducted from the clean water chamber at increased velocity against the partial area (B).

A restoring spring member urges the pump tappet opposite to the predetermined direction. There is further provided a mechanical energy storage device which includes a storage tappet mounted on the support spaced from the pump tappet for displacement in and opposite to the predetermined direction, and an elastically yieldable storage member urging the storage tappet in the predetermined direction.

    Abstract: In a device for dosing a liquid effective substance into flowing water, a housing forms a flow path for the water and contains a drive mechanism arranged to be driven by the water. A disposable tank unit is mounted on the housing and includes a dosing pump and an injection valve. The dosing pump is driven by the drive mechanism and withdraws the liquid effective substance from the tank and directs it into the injection valve for introduction into the water flowing through the housing.
