  • Publication number: 20090143088
Abstract: Communication carried out over a frequency band divided into a plurality of subcarriers by messages transmitted between a first radio station and a second radio station in a plurality of hops between respectively adjacent radio stations arranged in hierarchical levels. A subset of the subcarriers is used for each hop. The subsets used are allocated by at least one higher level radio station and the composition of at least one of the subsets used varies over time.

  • Publication number: 20090029653
Abstract: In a communication system, a first transmitting station transmits a transmission signal to a first receiving station for transmitting a sequence of data via a radio interface. The radio interface is monitored with respect to an interference signal from an interference source prior to transmission via at least one of the first transmitting station and the first receiving station. The transmission only begins if the radio interface is sufficiently free from interference for a moment in time.

  • Publication number: 20060165193
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for transmitting signals in a radio communication system consisting of at least two frequency signal-transmitting channels. At least the first (fcoord) of said frequency channels is used for organising radio resources, and at least the second (fi) of the frequency channels is used for transmitting signals between the stations of the system where the signal transmission is carried out by the frequency channels from/in a direction of said stations in conformity with a predefined temporal pattern (P1, P2, P3).

  • Publication number: 20060040675
Abstract: In a radio system having stations which are at least partially provided with a directional antenna, a first emitting station is provided with a directional antenna in a first spatial radio area. The first emitting station sends a direction information message indicating the spatial direction in which the data is to be transmitted. Transmission resources can be advantageously occupied based on the direction information message.

  • Publication number: 20060030343
Abstract: A method performs synchronization in an at least partly self-organizing radio communication system with a number of mobile stations which lie across an air interface within two-way radio range. Al least some mobile stations from the number of mobile stations transmit synchronization sequences, by which a part or all the mobile stations of the number of mobile stations synchronize.

  • Publication number: 20050254449
Abstract: Radio communication resources are allocated in an at least partially self-organising radio communications system having several user stations and at least one central entity for organizing the allocation of radio communication resources, in addition to a corresponding radio communications system. Resources for direct communication between at least two respective user stations are allocated repeatedly at least partly by the central entity.

  • Publication number: 20040193878
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for transferring data (D) via an interface (VA, BS, A) of a communication system (GSM/A) between at least one emitter (MS1) and at least one receiver (MS2), at least part of the data (CD) being transferred in a secure manner. The aim of the invention is to transfer the data in an efficient, but nevertheless secure, manner. To this end, the part of the data (CD) to be transferred in a secure manner is transferred via a secure interface (VA, GSM, A) and the remaining part of the data (ND) is transferred via an interface (VB, WLAN, B) which is not especially secure, especially another communication system. Basic data for the reproduction of a basic information message can be selected and/or transferred as the data (CD) to be transferred in a secure manner. A code for decoding coded data (ND) can also be transferred as the data (CD) to be transferred in a secure manner. The rest of the data (ND) is then transferred as data (ND) which is encoded by said code (CD).
