  • Patent number: 10236612
Abstract: A flat contact socket comprises a connection section and a socket body connected to the connection section. The connection section has a continuous connection surface electrically connected to an electrical conductor. The socket body has a plurality of extensions connected to the socket body and a flat contact receptacle into which a flat contact can be inserted. The flat contact receptacle extends along a flat contact plane. The extensions are spaced apart from one another adjacent the socket body and extend away from the socket body to form the continuous connection surface.

  • Patent number: 9793620
Abstract: A connector assembly for electrically contacting a blade connector to a second connector The connector assembly includes a blade connector which has a contact surface plane that is electrically connected to the second connector in the mated state. In order to improve mechanical and electrical properties of the overall connector assembly and, in particular, of the blade connector, the assembly further includes a mounting cage in which the blade connector is captively held and which has at least one clamping device that presses the second connector onto the contact surface plane of the blade connector in the mated state.
