  • Patent number: 9917485
Abstract: An electric machine has grooves and windings, divided into strands, of electrical conductors. At least one strand has a number s of coils connected in series and arranged in the grooves. Each coil has sub-conductors connected in parallel and arranged in bundles. Each bundle is arranged in a groove at a bundle position relative to a deepest possible bundle position in the groove. The positions of all bundles in all coils define a number b of possible bundle positions of the strand. The bundles are interchanged between the coils such that each bundle is arranged in the grooves at least n times and at most n? times at each possible bundle position, wherein n is the integer quotient in regard to the quotient of the number s and the number b, wherein n?=n if s is divisible by b and n?=n+1 if s is not divisible by b.

  • Patent number: 9517490
Abstract: An irradiation device including at least one radiation source, which emits both UV-radiation and W-radiation, i.e. visible light and/or IR radiation. The device includes a transport device for delivering substrates to be irradiated. At least one wavelength-selective filter reflects UV-radiation at an angle of 45° and transmits W-radiation. Means for the absorption of IR radiation are arranged downstream of the optical filter in the propagation direction in the beam path of the W-radiation not deflected by the wavelength-selective filter. The means for the absorption of IR radiation are also designed to absorb visible light and UV rays, and the irradiation device includes movement means in order to guide the wavelength-selective filter into and out of the beam path of the radiation source.

  • Publication number: 20150137653
Abstract: In summary, the invention relates to an electric machine having a housing, a stator which is arranged in the housing and a rotatable rotor arranged inside the stator, wherein the housing comprises at least two housing segments, and the stator comprises at least two stator segments, and a method for manufacturing such a machine. In order to provide an electric machine which has favourable transportation and installation properties together with a high output power and permits a precisely adjustable air gap to be made available despite customary fabrication tolerances of its components, it is proposed that it be possible to secure each of the stator segments individually to one of the housing segments by means of, in each case, at least one mechanically detachable connection.

  • Patent number: 8497614
Abstract: A segmented annular stator for a dynamo-electric machine is disclosed which simplifies transport and assembly of the machine. The segment has a cross section essentially shaped as a circular arc and includes a first and a second segment boundary configured for attachment to an additional segment, a corresponding coil associated with each phase of a three-phase system, a first conductor, and a second conductor. The first conductor is connected to the second conductor via an end connection in an area of end windings, such that a first coil associated with a first phase surrounds second and third coils associated with second and third phases of the three-phase system.

  • Patent number: 6041749
Abstract: In a cylinder with a cylinder surface receiving a piston the cylinder surface has at least two zones with different oil retention capabilities; sectors having a relatively high oil retention capability are disposed in areas of the cylinder surface which are subjected to relatively high radial pressure forces while the other areas have only a relatively low oil retention capability. The oil retention sectors have a width which changes over their axial length so as to provide only a surface area with increased oil retention capability as needed to accommodate high radial pressure forces of the piston while the rest of the cylinder surface has a low oil retention capability to eliminate unnecessary oil consumption and engine emissions.
