  • Patent number: 10286510
Abstract: Disclosed is a tool system including a drive for driving a tool holder including an electromagnetic generator for generating electrical energy from inertial energy of the tool holder. The tool holder may be driven in rotation, wherein the electromagnetic generator comprises a rotor part, which is rotatably mounted on the tool holder, and a stator part on the tool holder cooperating with each other for generating a voltage by electromagnetic induction. Alternatively, an axially movable inertial mass can be used for utilization of an oscillating linear movement.

Assignee: BILZ WERKZEUGFABRIK GMBH & CO. KG
Inventors: Juergen Fronius, Rudolf Bader, Ulrich Zierer
  • Patent number: 10059560
Abstract: The invention relates to a winding device for winding strand-like material to be wound onto a rotating reel (2), which winding device has a laying apparatus (9) by means of which the material to be wound is guided to the run-on point on the winding. The laying apparatus (9) is substantially movable in the direction of the axis of rotation (3) of the reel (2). Furthermore the winding device (1) has at least one sensor for determining the run-on angle of the material to be wound onto the winding. The winding device (1) is designed in such a way that the movement of the laying apparatus (9) during the winding process is regulated as a function of the run-on angle determined by means of the at least one sensor.

  • Patent number: 7370823
Abstract: A method for laying elongated winding material, such as for example wire, insulated or non-insulated strands, glass fibers, and the like, in which the strand-type material is wound in layers onto rotationally symmetrically shaped winding spools, the winding material being guided to a winding spool via a deflecting roller for the laying, and for the distribution on the winding spool the deflecting roller is moved essentially parallel to the axial direction, a sensor unit acquiring the position of the spool flange as well as the winding diameter of the winding material, and control signals for the movement of the deflecting roller being derived from the measurement values of the sensor unit.

  • Patent number: 6297747
Abstract: A tool holder for holding a tool has at least one sensor for measuring an operating parameter of the tool holder or the tool during the operation thereof and generating measured value signals which are fed to a signal processing unit for evaluation. The sensor is a surface acoustic wave sensor operating according to acoustic wave principles and its measured value signals are readable in a contactless manner by means of radio waves. The surface acoustic wave sensor requires no current supply circuit but instead draws transmission energy required for transmission of the measured value signals to the signal processing unit from a high frequency interrogation signal, that is transmitted by radio waves from the signal processing unit and is received by the surface acoustic wave sensor.
