  • Patent number: 12196892
Abstract: A computer-implemented method (200) of radiation events localizations is indicated for a pixelated radiation detector (10) having a scintillator array (24) of scintillator array elements (26) arranged in an (m)×(n) array, and an optical sensor array (28) of optical sensors (30) arranged in a (q)×(z) array and coupled to the scintillator array (24) in light sharing mode. The method includes the steps of sampling (72) spatial intensity distributions of scintillation photons emitted by the scintillator array (24) in response to multiple incident radiation events; performing a clustering analysis (76) based on the sampled spatial intensity distributions, to obtain clusters (84) of radiation events attributed to scintillator array elements (26), wherein the dimension of the sampled spatial intensity distributions correspond to the (q)×(z) dimensions of the optical sensor array (28), and determining the localization of the radiation events based on the clustering analysis (76).

  • Publication number: 20250009315
Abstract: A method to position a subject to be scanned in a positron emission tomography (PET)-scanning device (1) is presented. According to this method, the subject to be scanned (P) is prepositioned in the PET-scanning device (1) and a set of PET-raw data is acquired of the subject to be scanned (P) for a series of slices by means of a detector (11) of the PET-scanning device (1). The acquired set of PET-raw data is represented in the form of at least one projection view, and the position of the subject to be scanned (P) relative to the detector (11) is directly assessed based on this at least one projection view. Furthermore, a PET-scanning device (1) configured to carry out this method and a computer program for controlling such a PET-scanning device are provided.

  • Patent number: 11255390
Abstract: A brake caliper is fastened to a stationary brake carrier by two fastening elements such that the caliper can slide axially relative to the brake disc. The fastening elements each have a guide bar fixedly connected to the brake carrier, of which guide bars, one guide bar is guided as a fixed bearing and the other guide bar is guided in a plain bearing, which is designed as a floating bearing having a floating bearing axis. The floating bearing has a guide bush, which reaches around the guide bar and is retained in a caliper bore such that sliding is prevented. A first tubular, variable-length seal is arranged on the end region of the guide bar far from the brake disc, which seals the guide bar from the environment and is fastened on the guide bar and in the guide bush. The first tubular, variable-length seal is clamped on the guide bar by a cap pressed into the guide bar.

  • Patent number: 10443667
Abstract: A disk brake with lower cost and improved maintainability is provided. The brake caliper includes at least one actuating device for actuating the disc brake using a moveably guided bridge. The bridge has at least one threaded hole into which an actuating spindle is displaceably located. A brake disk end of the actuating spindle penetrates a caliper closing plate facing the brake disk. The positioning spindle carries a rotatably-mounted pressure piece which presses a brake pad against the brake disc. The opening is sealed by a bellows retained on the brake caliper on one side and on the pressure piece on the other side. A securing ring non-rotatably located on the actuating spindle and rotatably connected to the thrust piece interacts with the bellows during brake application and/or release to maintain a desired air gap between the brake disk and brake pad.

  • Patent number: 10031185
Abstract: Determining a state of charge (SOC) of a rechargeable battery includes using a first process to determine a first value for the SOC of the battery and using a second process to determine a second value for the SOC of the battery and deriving the SOC as a weighted average of the first value for the SOC and the second value for the SOC. During a charging cycle of the battery an input charge of the battery is determined from an input current flowing into the battery and a charging time. During a discharging cycle an output charge of the battery is determined from an output current flowing out of the battery, a discharging time and an actual capacity of the battery is the sum of the input charge over charging cycles minus the sum of the output charge over discharging cycles.
