  • Publication number: 20240083525
Abstract: Kingpin assembly for a semitrailer of a road train, including a king pin defining an axis of rotation (A), a pivot bearing arranged around the axis of rotation (A), and a holder connected to the pivot bearing and pivotable around the axis of rotation (A) for indirectly or directly holding an electrical and/or electromagnetic and/or pneumatic and/or hydraulic connecting means wherein the king pin includes a king pin flange for mounting the king pin indirectly or directly to the semitrailer, wherein the pivot bearing includes a fixed bearing ring or a fixed bearing ring segment relative to the king pin and a bearing ring or a bearing ring segment rotatable relative thereto, wherein the holder is fixed to the rotatable bearing ring and wherein a support element, which is axially spaced from the rotatable bearing ring and abuts directly against the king pin, is connected to the holder and is adjustable in length in the radial direction (R) with respect to the axis of rotation (A).

  • Patent number: 4200166
Abstract: An armrest adjacent the seating surface for the operator of a fork lift truck or like moving machine has a top face elongated in a predominantly horizontal direction. A low and narrow, elongated side wall projects from the top face adjacent the operator so as to be normally received between the operator's body and lower arm and elbow and to secure the operator. Control elements for the machine are mounted on the front portion of the top face for operation by the fingers of an arm resting on the top face.

  • Patent number: 4145640
Abstract: Variable pulsing of a dc source without change of polarity is used for lossless control of the speed of a compound dc motor. The pulsed dc supply is fed in series through the series field winding, armature and reversing switch system and the shunt field winding has one terminal connected to the pulsed dc source and its other terminal connected respectively through two conductively poled diodes to the opposite terminals of the armature winding. Two anti-kickback devices are also provided, one of which operates during reverse-current braking. The reversing switch system has two independently actuatable single-pole double-throw switches of which the respective arm contacts are connected to the ends of the armature winding, one fixed contact of each of these reversing switches being connected to the series field winding and the other pair, likewise connected together, being connected to one terminal of the dc supply.
