  • Patent number: 8793084
Abstract: A method records and transmits data between a transmission unit that has a first antenna and a measurement module which has a sensor for recording measured variables and converts the measured variables into electric signals. Data is bi-directionally transmitted between the measurement module and the transmission unit located within the near field of the measurement module by use of a second antenna that is arranged on the measurement module. The electromagnetic energy of the signal that is applied to the second antenna is transformed and temporarily stored by a reception unit which is arranged downstream of the second antenna. The first antenna of the transmission unit is put in an inactive state at least during the time the measured variables are sensed by the measurement module or the sensors.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 14, 2009
Date of Patent: July 29, 2014
Assignee: AIT Austrian Institute of Technology GmbH
Inventors: Rudolf Heer, Hubert Brueckl, Hans Kroath, Juergen Wissenwasser

  • Publication number: 20090325822
Abstract: An apparatus for enhancing the contact frequency between two reactants capable of binding to one another, preferably between an analyzer molecule and an analyte molecule, especially for enhancing the binding effectiveness in bioanalysis arrays with the aid of micro- or nanomagnetic particles (75) set in motion in a controlled manner in the fluid reaction medium by means of magnetic fields generated by variably feedable electromagnets (3, 2, 20) arranged on both sides of the reaction fluid film.

  • Patent number: 3958927
Abstract: The staining of the face fibers of cationic-dyeable polyamide jute-backed carpeting by cationic dyestuffs employed in dyeing the jute-backing is prevented, without significant loss of color yield on the jute, by dyeing the jute at a temperature not exceeding 90.degree.F. in the presence of an acid addition salt of a compound of the formula: ##EQU1## where R is an aliphatic hydrocarbon group containing 8 TO 24 CARBON ATOMS,R.sub.1 is a hydroxyalkyl group of 2 or 3 carbon atoms, andN is 0, 1 or 2,Or a mixture of such acid addition salts.
