  • Patent number: 9486617
Abstract: A rotary valve body for a dispensing device is arrangable in a matching valve seat in the dispensing device, whereby the rotary valve body is rotationally symmetrical about the rotation axis of the rotary valve body at least within a region intended for the valve seat. At least one sealing cam is arranged on the rotationally symmetrical jacket surface of said region and is raised above the radius of the rotationally symmetrical jacket surface such that the sealing cam renders the circumference of the rotary valve body larger than the internal diameter of the valve seat. At least one feed-through is arranged in the rotary valve body and extends from a first opening in the rotationally symmetrical jacket surface into a second opening in the rotationally symmetrical jacket surface.

  • Publication number: 20140077115
Abstract: A rotary valve body for a bone cement dispensing device is arrangeable in rotatable manner in a matching valve seat in the dispensing device, whereby the rotary valve body is rotationally symmetrical about the rotation axis of the rotary valve body at least within a region intended for the valve seat. At least one sealing cam made of an elastic plastic material is arranged on the rotationally symmetrical jacket surface of said region and is raised above the radius of the rotationally symmetrical jacket surface such that the sealing cam renders the circumference of the rotary valve body larger than the internal diameter of the valve seat. At least one feed-through is arranged in the rotary valve body and extends from a first opening in the rotationally symmetrical jacket surface of the rotary valve body in the region of the sealing cam into a second opening in the rotationally symmetrical jacket surface of the rotary valve body.

  • Patent number: 5546070
Abstract: In a device for monitoring tire air pressure in motor vehicles with a sensor that delivers a signal corresponding to the deformation of the tire, and with an evaluating unit that detects the signal from the sensor, the sensor is so designed such that it delivers an electrical pulse corresponding to the degree of deformation of a tire, especially deformation during a footprint pass. The evaluating unit determines the degree of deformation as a function of the height of the amplitude of the pulse or the evaluating unit determines the degree of deformation as a function of the ratio of the duration of the pulse to the duration of one wheel revolution.

  • Patent number: 4927276
Abstract: A pocket cage formed from a deformable sheet has a pair of side rings connected by a plurality of webs, each web having a projection comprising a folding of web material formed by bending at a plurality of bending points. At least the material in the middle of each web has reduced resistance to bending relative to the material in areas of each web other than the bending points. This folding is produced by applying opposing pressing forces on the front faces of the side rings using a tool. By placement of the middle bending point on either the outer surface or the bore surface of the web, the projection can be suitably selected to be radially inwardly or outwardly directed respectively.

  • Patent number: 4567459
Abstract: In a transmission method for variable parameters from loaded vehicle wheels, wherein energy is transmitted to a secondary coil (5) mounted concentrically on a wheel during varying excitation by a primary coil (2) integral with a vehicle, and an information signal, which is a function of the output signal of a sensor, is fed back from this secondary coil to a receiving coil integral with the vehicle, the primary coil (2) itself serves as the receiving coil. The information signal can be temperature-compensated, and compared in an evaluation circuit with a set value which is modified in accordance with various pressure-related parameters.
