Patent number: 8870127Abstract: A lock bearing for a points setting arrangement has a lock bearing screw penetrating a foot of a setting tongue and a spring package arranged between the foot and the screw head of the screw. Therefore the lock bearing screw can be tightened with a relatively narrowly definable torque range and still has the rotation reserve to bring the position of the head of the lock bearing screw into line with a hole in a safety plate mapping the screw head which then, upon being inserted as previously known, latches in place over the head of the lock bearing screw. An alternative embodiment has a lock bearing with a lock bearing screw penetrating a foot of a setting tongue and an anti-rotation ring enclosing the head of the lock bearing screw in an annular, force-fitted manner with an outer toothing and a safety plate matching the outer toothing.Type: GrantFiled: January 18, 2012Date of Patent: October 28, 2014Assignee: Siemens Schweiz AGInventors: Walter Ackeret, Rudolf Herrmann, Andreas Infanger

Patent number: 8708287Abstract: A lock bearing for a points setting arrangement has a lock bearing screw penetrating a foot of a setting tongue and an anti-rotation ring enclosing the head of the lock bearing screw in an annular, force-fitted manner with an outer toothing and a safety plate matching the outer toothing. It therefore is possible to tighten the lock bearing screw within a small torque range and only to have to align the lock bearing screw with the pitch of the outer toothing. Therefore if, for example, the outer toothing has 36 teeth, the lock bearing screw only need to be aligned within a range of maximum 10°. The anti-rotation ring functions like an adapter for the toothing mass and contributes to the fact that no modifications need to be carried out on the remaining construction of the lock bearing, which is advantageous as regards safety and approval considerations.Type: GrantFiled: January 18, 2012Date of Patent: April 29, 2014Assignee: Siemens Schweiz AGInventors: Walter Ackeret, Rudolf Herrmann, Andreas Infanger

Publication number: 20020014454Abstract: Gas- and/or liquid-permeable filter material is formed from a sheetlike web material. The sheetlike web material is upset or gathered transversely to its longitudinal extent in order to form a wavy structure. A device produces a filter material of this type includes at least two profile rollers located opposite one another being disposed, as seen in the conveying direction of the sheetlike web material, downstream of at least two embossing rollers located opposite one another. The rotational speed of the embossing rollers and the profile rollers and/or the distance between the profile rollers is capable of being set for the purpose of upsetting or gathering the web material led through between the embossing and profile rollers. In addition, a method produces a filter material of this type. The sheetlike web material is upset or gathered continuously.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 3, 2001Publication date: February 7, 2002Inventors: Rudolf Herrmann, Andreas Zottl, Gustav Jobstmann

Patent number: 6264133Abstract: For intermediate storage, printed products are often wound onto winding cores mounted on roll supports (3) with a horizontal winding axis. After intermediate storage the printed products are unwound again. For winding-up and unwinding, a roll support (3) is positioned in a winding station and when winding-up or unwinding is complete the roll support (3) is replaced by another one. In order to serve an arrangement of winding stations (W) and storage positions (L) for roll supports (3) efficiently and possibly in a fully automated manner on as little space as possible and with an orientation of winding stations (W) and storage positions (L) substantially freely adaptable to given conditions, a manipulator (1) is used for manipulation and transport of the roll supports (3). This manipulator is movable in x-, y-, and z-directions and rotatable around a vertical rotation axis. It includes at least two coupling part (2) arranged around the vertical rotation axis with an angle of 90° between them.Type: GrantFiled: March 1, 1999Date of Patent: July 24, 2001Assignee: Ferag AGInventor: Rudolf Herrmann

Patent number: 4752684Abstract: A substantially flat paper article or product is marked by applying thereto a luminophore. In order for the thus produced markings to remain discernible even if the paper article constitutes a component or part in a collation or composite of such paper articles, the markings are applied to at least one location of a marginal region including the contiguous edge of the paper article. This marking method can be used to monitor the completeness of an end product manufactured by collating a plurality of different paper articles.Type: GrantFiled: October 24, 1986Date of Patent: June 21, 1988Assignee: Ferag AGInventor: Rudolf Herrmann

Patent number: 4680493Abstract: A ventilating arrangement for a vehicle generator is proposed where a rotor-stator unit is arranged in a housing equipped with air-guiding ducts. A fan wheel is connected in front of this rotor-stator unit which by means of a pulley is drivingly held on a shaft of the rotor. The pulley is developed as an air delivery wheel and comprises supporting ribs forming radial guide blades. The air delivery wheel serves to partially compress and assist the air flow to the fan wheel.Type: GrantFiled: June 24, 1985Date of Patent: July 14, 1987Assignee: Dr. Ing. h.c.F.
