Abstract: The novel title compounds of the formula (I) ##STR1## in which Q.sup.1 represents oxygen or sulphur,Q.sup.2 represents oxygen or sulphur,R.sup.1 represents hydrogen, hydroxyl, amino or alkylideneamino or represents an in each case optionally substituted radical from the series consisting of alkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, alkoxy, alkenyloxy, alkylamino, dialkylamino, alkanoylamino, cycloalkyl, cycloalkylalkyl, cycloalkylamino, aryl and arylalkyl,R.sup.2 represents in each case optionally substituted heterocyclyl or heterocyclylalkyl, andR.sup.3 represents an in each case optionally substituted radical from the series consisting of alkyl, aralkyl, aryl and heteroaryl,and salts of compounds of the formula (I), processes and novel intermediates for their preparation, and their use as herbicides.

Abstract: Novel herbicidal active compound combinations consisting of (a) a heteroaryloxy- acetamide of the formula (I) ##STR1## in which Het represents thiadiazolyl which is substituted by halogen or by C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl or phenyl, each of which is optionally substituted by halogen, andAr represents phenyl which is optionally substituted by halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -halogenoalkyl, and (b) one or more compounds from a second group of herbicides (according to the description) and/or a compound which improves the tolerance by crop plants (according to the description) exhibit, at certain weight ratios, synergistic effects and/or particularly good tolerance by crop plants with high herbicidal activity.

Abstract: The present invention pertains to new substituted nitrogen heterocycles of general formula (I) ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 independently of each other, stand for hydrogen or alkyl,X stands for oxygen, sulfur or an NR.sup.3 group,Y stands for carbon (C or CH) or nitrogen,Z stands for an electron-attracting group,T stands for the remainder of an unsaturated ring system broken possibly by other heteroatoms or heteroatom groups,Q stands for possibly substituted aryl or possibly substituted hetaryl, wherein R.sup.3 stands for hydrogen, alkyl or alkenyl, method for preparing them and their use as pesticides.

Abstract: A sluice for feeding a continually transported material to be annealed into an annealing oven includes two opposing sealing hollow plates spaced from each other to permit the material to pass therebetween and each provided with a coating of ceramic felt. A conduit for feeding buffer gas into the space between two opposing plates opens into that space to fill that space with buffer gas and to prevent oxygen from entering the oven.
