  • Patent number: 4828878
Abstract: Objects such as for example printed circuit boards are transported for treating through a treatment container which accommodates a treating medium in a lower plane being supported by clamps of object supports, and then the object supports with the clamps are returned to a starting position in an upper plane.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 14, 1986
Date of Patent: May 9, 1989
    Assignee: Schering Aktiengesellschaft
Inventors: Ludwig Mankut, Horst Blaesing, Thomas Kosikowski, Walter Meyer, Rudolf Kreisel
  • Patent number: 4752371
Abstract: A device for releasably-holding printed circuit boards to be galvanized in a galvanization bath comprises an elongated frame, and arrangements for holding opposite longitudinal edges of the boards on the frame. The holding arrangements are electrically conductive. The frame includes two spaced paralled subframes. Each holding arrangement includes resilient clamping springs arranged on the subframes and freely extended outwardly from each subframe and also extending into a space between the subframes to enable an insertion into and a withdrawal from the clamping springs of respective elongated edges of each printed circuit board.

  • Patent number: 4537640
Abstract: Articles which require the removal of an adhering substance, such as residue of a galvanizing bath, are rinsed by spraying an aqueous rinsing agent against them repeatedly. Each spraying interval is followed by a run-off interval during which the sprayed-on rinsing agent can run off the articles. The length of the run-off intervals is equal to, or greater than, the length of the spraying intervals.

  • Patent number: 4206018
Abstract: Heat is exchanged between a first bath used for an electrochemical surface treatment and a station which may contain a second, similar bath or a heat-using device. The first bath requires cooling while the station requires heating.

  • Patent number: 4134819
Abstract: An arrangement for controlling the electric energy supply rate to an electroplating installation includes a positionally adjustable actuating member connected to a carrier which supports workpieces to be electroplated in an electroplating vat, and a sensor mounted on the vat and operative for detecting the extent of positional adjustment of the actuating member and generating a signal proportionate thereto. The signal is then transmitted to a source of direct electric current to be used thereat for controlling the output rate of the source. The actuating member is a setting screw which is threaded into a sleeve which, in turn, is mounted on a bracket rigidly connected to the carrier, while the sensor includes a housing rigidly mounted on a lug of the vat, and a potentiometer accommodated in the housing and having a detecting rod which extends beyond the housing and into the path of displacement of the setting screw.

  • Patent number: 3996568
Abstract: An arrangement for processing information pertaining to articles to be treated in automatic electroplating plants with work stations, article transport means, and article storage or holding locations. To each transport device and each location in the electroplating plant, there is assigned at least one storage unit which is logically connected with the central control unit and with the transport device circuit elements triggering the transport operation. It is also connected with the article storage or holding locations. The prevailing information pertaining to the articles treated is always inserted in that storage which is assigned to the transport device or to the location where the article is positioned at that time.
