Abstract: In one aspect, a method includes retrieving terms associated with a topic and analyzing the terms based on search results of user queries for content relating to the topic. The method includes selecting one or more terms from the terms based on the analysis. The method includes generating a label from the selected one or more terms and applying the label to a content item relating to the topic. Abstract: A method for clustering content is disclosed. The method reduces the likelihood that unrelated content is included in a cluster, allows users to more discover content and content is automatically curated. A collection of posts is associated with a common tag. A seed post is identified from the collection of posts. The collection of posts is grouped into a first cluster of posts based on the seed post and a first attribute. The collection of posts is grouped into a second cluster of posts based on the seed post and a second attribute. A preferred view is determined from at least one or more of: the first cluster and the second cluster. The preferred view is provided for display. Unrelated content includes topically unrelated posts, posts by users unrelated to a seed user, posts by users unrelated to the seed post in an activity graph.

One of the methods includes receiving a plurality of articles from a publisher for access to selected users in the social network. In one example, the received articles are identified as having premium content. Each of the received articles is assigned a sharing parameter that includes a sharing threshold. The method further includes receiving a request from a first user, who is identified from the selected users of the social network, to share an article identified from the plurality of received articles with a second user in the social network, and providing the second user with access to the article when the sharing threshold is satisfied. The article is presented to the second user with supplemental content.

Abstract: A method, computer program product, and computer system for identifying, by one or more computing devices, online posts authored by a user. The online posts are clustered according to one or more topics of the online posts authored by the user. Inputs associated with the online posts authored by the user are determined. A first score of the user is generated according to the one or more topics based upon a first portion of the inputs associated with the online posts authored by the user. A second score of the user is generated according to the one or more topics based upon a second portion of the inputs associated with the online posts authored by the user. A rank of the user according to the one or more topics is determined based upon the first and second score.
