Abstract: For the individual, group and/or repeat change of schiffli-shuttles in embroidering machines, the schiffli-shuttle embroidering stations are shifted from centralized to decentralized shuttle stroke and vice-versa. Rotating motion of the driving shafts is converted into reciprocating motion immediately before each individual shuttle. The reciprocating motion is transmitted to entrainment rods and drive rods. The entrainment rods are rotated according to the repeat configuration so that such drive and entrainment rods are disengaged. By actuating the drive and entrainment rods, the individual schiffli-shuttles each are engaged with and disengaged from the centralized shuttle stroke. The schiffli-thread is cut, the schiffli-shuttle is arrested and the upper slider is opened or closed for group change. The empty schiffli-shuttle is removed and a loaded schiffli-shuttle inserted.

Abstract: In an embroidery machine, especially an area embroidery machine, the embroidering heads of embroidering stations, which are arranged one above the other, are adjustably mounted on basic guides which extend over the entire height of the embroidering field, in such a manner that the embroidering tools on the needle side and on the shuttle side of each embroidering station are movable synchronously to each other relative to the embroidery field, individually, in groups, or in their entirety. The basic guides on the needle side and on the shuttle side are movable relative to the embroidery field. The embroidering tools are mounted on the basic guides by interconnecting adjustment bars; the relative position of the adjustment bars in view of the basic guides is adjustable on the needle side and on the shuttle side.

Abstract: In necessary embroidery machine, especially in an area embroidery machine the combination of a yarn support stand together with feed yarn rolls for all needle yarns required for the operation of the machine which are arranged in a yarn group, a yarn storage and tensioning device for accommodating the needle yarns over the feed yarn rolls with the same yarn lengths and for tension free and continuous supply of the yarn ncessary for the operation of the machine while the embroidering mechanism is running, and a clamping arrangement, by means of which the stationary feed yarn rolls in the yarn support stand can be clamped and changed.

Abstract: The invention concerns an embroidery machine, especially a surface embroidery machine, with embroidery heads, which accommodate, on the needle side, embroidery station elements, such as embroidery needles, piercers, fabric pressers, yarn catchers, front yard knives, etc., which are associated with an embroidery station and which can be adjusted vertically and horizontally in any required manner over the vertical extent of the embroidery field.
