  • Patent number: 4129585
Abstract: There is provided a process for the production of sulfur containing organosilicon compounds of the formula (I) Z -- Alk -- S.sub.x -- Alk -- Z, where Z is the grouping: ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 is an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, a cycloalkyl group with 5 to 8 carbon atoms, the benzyl group, phenyl or phenyl substituted with at least one methyl, ethyl or chloro group, R.sup.2 is alkoxy of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, methoxyethoxy, cycloalkoxy with 5 to 8 carbon atoms, phenoxy or benzyloxy, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are alkyl of 1 to 3 carbon atoms or hydrogen, Alk is divalent saturated hydrocarbon group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms or such a group interrupted by --O--, --S-- or --NH-- and x is a number from 2.0 to 6.

  • Patent number: 4120327
Abstract: A negative double-lift dobby, Hattersley system, comprising controlled holding hooks and draw hooks. In order for the holding hook to be able to be controlled at any time, namely independent from the position of the draw hook, by the pegs of the pattern card, at least one of the cooperating hooks is arranged shiftably against the force of a spring. The invention facilitates the control of fast running weaving machines and permits through the direct control of the heddles an increase in durability by reducing faulty controls and through the possibility of the precontrol an increase of the speed of the weaving machine.

  • Patent number: 3945483
Abstract: An apparatus for inductive hardening different types of production parts, such as automobile axles, in a device of the type having a pair of rotatable spiders with a plurality of arms for clamping therebetween the parts for indexing movement from a clamping station to a releasing station, the parts being sequentially presented to the clamping station by a lifting bar conveyor. The type of part presented for clamping and type of part which the arms at the clamping station can clamp are compared and the part only clamped when the types are the same.
