Abstract: The invention relates, in part, to methods to prepare and use molecularly imprinted copolymer compounds. Molecularly imprinted compounds of the invention can be used to identify the presence and/or level of a target compound that the molecularly imprinted copolymer compound of the invention was imprinted to detect. Molecularly imprinted copolymer compounds of the invention can also be used in separation methods to remove or isolate a target compound that the molecularly imprinted copolymer compound was imprinted to specifically bind.

Abstract: A hair-reserving penetration dyeing of the leather side of wool- or fur-bearing skins is obtained by dyeing the wooled or fur skins in aqueous medium with hydrosoluble sulpho-group-containing sulphur dyes (a) in the presence of dye-substantive uptake assistant (b) and of non-ionic and/or anionic hydrophilic dispersants (c) and optionally in the presence of leather fatting agents (d).

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for dyeing sueded wool- or fur-bearing skins tone-in-tone in a single bath and in one step. The dyeing is carried out with reactive dyestuffs bearing at least one reactive group selected from acryloylimino, halogenoacryloylimino and .beta.-halogenopropionylimino, in the presence of non-ionic or anionically modified polyalkoxylated surfactants.

Abstract: A multiple component electrical heating device for mirrors including at least one plate-shaped electrical heating element having two main faces being connected with two of at least three metal strips which are spaced from one another and extend parallel with each other, in an electrical current-conducting and heat-conducting manner. A first one of the two main faces of the heating element is in electrical current- and heat-conducting contact with at least a first one of the metal strips and is electrically and heat-insulated from the two strips next adjacent the first metal strip. A metal bridge connects with one another, in electrical current- and heat-conducting contact, the two metal strips next adjacent the first metal strip. The other main face of the heating element is in electrical current- and heat-conducting contact with the metal bridge.
