  • Patent number: 10619430
Abstract: A drilling device having a drill drive, a positioning means, a receiving part, a clamping means, and a control unit. The receiving part holds a first drill rod element with a first thread region. The clamping means is positioned on the drill drive for holding at least a second drill rod element having a second thread region. The control unit actuates the drill drive and the positioning means to screw the first and second thread regions together. A distance measuring means detects an adjustment distance of the drill drive along a guide as an actual value. The control unit determines an adjustment distance as a nominal value from a detected revolution speed of the drill drive during screwing and a predetermined thread constant. The control unit determines a difference from the nominal and actual values, and uses the difference to adjust the drill drive and/or the positioning means.

  • Patent number: 4848522
Abstract: A safety device for preventing accidental unrolling of a rolling shutter or overhead door comprising a cogwheel which has uniformly distributed on the circumference opening outward for containing radially movable tumblers, a cage which surrounds the cogwheel that contains an abutment in the form of a recess for the tumblers which are raised by the action of centrifugal force. Upon reaching a predetermined rotational speed, the tumblers engage an abutment in the cage and the cage acting as a brake is then driven by the cogwheel and slowed down by friction.

  • Patent number: 4796674
Abstract: A shed-forming apparatus for doup weaves comprises for each warp thread pair a plate adapted to be pivoted back and forth and comprising on one side of its pivoting axis a bore for the passage of the stationary warp thread and on the opposite side of its pivoting axis slot for accommodating the wip thread. Two or more plates are connected to one another as well as to drive discs by bolts or the like positioned radially outwardly beyond the slot, the drive discs being in turn engaged by a drive rod of the shed-forming mechanism. The peripheral shape of the plates may be elliptical or ellipsoidal or it may be circular. The drive discs may also take the form of belt-driven cog wheels engaging matching teeth of a toothed belt connected to the drive means for the shed-forming plates.

  • Patent number: 4776371
Abstract: In a circular loom having a machine frame, a lower and an upper running race arranged in said machine frame for guiding the shuttle, the running rollers of the shuttle are fitted between guiding surfaces of the upper and lower running race. To avoid contacting between the running rollers of the shuttle and the warp threads, the running races have thread guiding grooves crossing the guiding surfaces. The thread guiding grooves, in the running direction of the shuttle, are arranged to be inclined by an acute angle relative to the radial direction laid at the middle axis of the machine.

  • Patent number: 4719946
Abstract: For the production of a tubular woven fabric having a floats-including weave, by using a circular loom, at least two shuttles are moved through sheds formed by warp threads. The warp threads are guided through thread eyes of thread guiding organs and are lifted and lowered by the thread guiding organs to form the shed. In order to be able to produce tubular woven fabrics of different types of floats-including weaves, free warp threads, i.e., warp threads that are loosely guided through between thread guiding organs carrying neighboring warp threads, additionally run between warp threads guided by the thread guiding organs. These loose warp threads cross the opened shed approximately in the middle thereof and are lifted by a guide means arranged on at least one shuttle and, as the method proceeds, are lowered by a guide means arranged on at least one shuttle.
