  • Patent number: 8227716
Abstract: At least one embodiment of the invention relates to an actuator including a mechanical display, wherein the actuator is provided for switching a switch unit, and the mechanical display includes a window and a display surface visible through the window. At least one embodiment of the invention is based on the insight that prior mechanical displays require a great deal of space within the command device, and are also prone to failure. The problem of space-saving integration is solved by a display surface formed on the spring bar mounted on the actuation part, and the display surface, together with at least a part of the spring bar, is intended to make a partial rotary motion about a rotary axis during the actuation motion. In addition to the space-saving integration, a greater displacement of the display surface is also thus achieved. At least one embodiment of the invention further relates to an electromechanical operating device having a switch unit that can be switched by such an actuator.

  • Patent number: 7605335
Abstract: A position switch is disclosed, with a plunger. In at least one embodiment, the plunger can be moved, via an actuator, from a rest position to an operating position by way of a first rotatable locking element. A second rotatable locking element is usable to block the first rotatable locking element by way of the plunger. A position switch is specified, which separates the actuating mechanism for a switch unit from the holding-shut mechanism and, in doing so, guarantees reliable holding-shut, which manages with a low number of components. Here, the plunger is designed to contact an active surface of the first locking element in the operating position and to contact an active surface of the second locking element in the rest position. The first locking element is able to block the second locking element by way of the plunger and vice versa.

  • Publication number: 20070240466
Abstract: The invention relates to a key switch with at least one turn-key switching position comprising a cylindrical lock adapted to perform a translation upon key authorization. The aim is to present a key switch being capable of allowing key hierarchies as well as the withdrawal of the key in particular switching positions. For this purpose the key switch also comprises a lock holder adapted to host the translation of a cylindrical lock in respect to the lock holder along a common rotational axis and the cylindrical lock being form—locking with the lock holder for rotations around the rotational axis. The user is able to employ the turning key movement for the selection of a switching position and an outward and inward linear translation of the key to lock or unlock a switching position.

  • Publication number: 20040017040
Abstract: A stacking device includes a movable stacking wall and a further stacking wall between which flat stackable elements are adapted to be stacked. An impact wall defines the path of insertion for a stackable element newly introduced between the stacking walls. The movable stacking wall is impinged by a restoring element with a restoring force in the direction of the further stacking wall. A braking element partially converts the kinetic energy of the movable stacking wall to thermal energy independent of the position thereof.

  • Patent number: 6514773
Abstract: Subject matter of the invention is a method for detecting surface contamination by an analyte by wiping the analyte off the surface with the aid of a wiping surface, eluting the analyte from the wiping surface with an eluant, and detecting the analyte in the eluate in an immunological detection reaction, characterized in that: a) the surface to be tested for the analyte is wiped with a wiping surface, b) the wiping surface is brought into contact with the planar surface of a capillary active, chromatographic test strip which has an eluant application zone at its one end and a target zone at its other end whereby contact is made in an area between these two zones, c) eluting liquid is applied onto the zone provided for this purpose, said liquid moving toward the target zone passes the contact site with the wiping surface as a consequence of capillary forces, whereby analyte is taken up by the eluant, and d) in the target zone, the analyte is measured in an immunological binding reaction.

  • Patent number: 6483062
Abstract: A push-pull switch includes an actuating mechanism whose actuating tappet is engaged in a thread in the handle. By this arrangement, a pulling movement on the handle is converted into a rotational movement of the actuating tappet. As such, balls mounted as latching elements in the actuating tappet can be released gently from a secure latching position in the ON state.
