  • Patent number: 4735085
Abstract: A missile-shaped body is calibrated to determine characteristic influence coefficients. Thereafter, the body is positioned in a flow field where normal forces and pitch moments are measured. Due to the fact that influence coefficients are predetermined as a result of calibration, the force and moment measurements are used to solve equations for flow field angularity.
