  • Publication number: 20240103131
Abstract: A radar-based environmental detection system for motor vehicles. The system includes at least one radar sensor for providing location data regarding objects in the environment of the motor vehicle, and including a neural network for converting the location data into an environmental model which represents spatio-temporal object data of the objects. The neural network is conditioned to give priority to outputting environmental models in which at least one predetermined physical relationship between the location data and the object data is satisfied.

  • Patent number: 9338827
Abstract: The invention relates to a heating device for installation in a switchgear cabinet, having a support and a heating body, wherein the support replaceably accommodates the heating body in a holder. Simple and secure mounting of the heating body on the support is achieved in that the holder has a contact surface to which limiting elements are attached, in that the limiting elements immobilize the heating body in a form-fitting manner transversely to the contact surface plane, and in that one or a plurality of locking elements are provided in the region of the holder, which immobilize the heating body in a form-fitting manner perpendicularly to the contact surface.

  • Patent number: 5638205
Abstract: A layer system with a controllable heat emission, includes an IR-transparent carrier substrate, a layer with a controllable IR-transmission, an ion-permeable, IR-reflecting electrode, a solid electrolyte, an ion storage layer, a back electrode. The ion-permeable, IR-reflecting electrode is structured in such a manner that it is provided with non-cohesive openings which are distributed homogeneously over the electrode surface and whose maximal flat dimension is smaller than 10 .mu.m.

  • Patent number: 4747877
Abstract: This invention relates to a chloride-free hardening accelerant for Portland cement which is active in particular at low temperatures and contains calcium nitrate, sodium nitrate, hexamethylenetetramine and sodium hydroxide. The accelerant is prepared by reacting the calculated amount of formaldehyde with calcium ammonium nitrate in aqueous solution at between room temperature and 55.degree. C. under alkaline conditions established with sodium hydroxide. After the reaction had ended this solution can be used directly as such or be converted into a powder by means of a suitable drying operation.

  • Patent number: 4643772
Abstract: A process for the preparation of a mixed-phase pigment based on iron oxide and chromium oxide by heating a mixture of the oxides, hydroxides or oxide hydroxides of iron and of chromium at from 600.degree. to 1100.degree. C. and then comminuting the product and working it up in a conventional manner. The essential feature of the invention is that a mixture of transparent .alpha.-iron oxide having an orthorhombic bipyramidal crystal structure and a chromium(III) hydroxide, which has been applied onto the transparent iron oxide by precipitation with an alkali, preferably sodium carbonate, is heated. The pigments according to the invention give deep colorations and are readily dispersible.
